  The resort is the perfect location to take advantage of the Finger Lakes wine region. The price for a complete house is a much better deal than the cost for a much smaller hotel room. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to friends.

  Me and my family (2 boys aged 10 and 13) enjoyed our stay very much at Cobtree. The log cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Beautifully located on a hill top overlooking the Seneca lake with wide open ground around us. After visiting the exciting cities of New York and Wahsington we loved to have some time to relax without the rush and hectic of the cities... The cabin was excellent, well equipped and clean. We loved the BBQ in the evening while sitting on the terrace. All in all a well spend time and money at Cobtree. We can only recommend to visit Cobtree.

  The house is fantastic, even better than what we expected from the pictures on their website. The location is good too, close to watkins glen state park, which is the most beautiful park in finger lakes region. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back if we stop by in the future.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hemlock Cabin at Cobtree Resort, Geneva, NY. The property is very nicely situated and the owners are friendly and accommodating. The cabin was clean and very well equipped. The resort overlooks gorgeous Seneca Lake. It is also conveniently located to all of your shopping needs. The added benefit to staying at Cobtree is that it is pet-friendly. Our dog loved it there! We would definitely stay here again if we visited the Geneva area in the future. The Finger Lakes are the most beautiful of all lakes in upstate NY. The wine trails are a nice attraction and Cobtree Resort is the place to stay!

  Excellent place to stay with 3 bedrooms and everythingwas very well kept. Don't expect a great view of the lake but you'll be very close to many wine tasting venues, Bellhurst Castle, 2 golf courses, and Geneva.

We have recently felled 27 trees that were starting to block out the view of the lake but now the view once again is fantastic.   Cobtree rentals are located very close to numerous activities and super convenient shopping areas. Hemlock log house rental is large, very well equipped with all that one really needs for self catering experiences. We did, however, find that the pump or whatever it is under the first floor was a bit of an irritant especially when trying to sleep. The house was super clean upon our arrival and we left it a bit cleaner is some areas especially the barbie. The description provided on line is accurate in all ways. The owners provided support when needed. We would recommend these places to anyone seeking self catering opportunities for family support and convenience. A long term stay would be recommended although an over night or two would suffice. We were in the area for family business and are unable to recommend activities, etc...

The pump you mention in your review is when the water softener located under the house goes into back flush mode from time to time depending on the water usage of the four log cabins at Cobtree. We have already taken steps to insulate the ceiling of the crawl space under the cabin but obviously we need to do more about this problem. It really is only a problem though for light sleepers (so a survey of other guests reported to us) We do take seriously any review posted and try to remedy any issues that arise from time to time. We cannot always do anything about a certain problem but, we do our best to do so whenever possible. Once again, many thanks for staying at Cobtree, the real Finger Lakes Experience!

  What a quiet, tranquil place. The view is incredible. We rented two homes for 4 families and truly enjoyed the peace!!! The homes were clean, roomy and the owners would do anything to make your stay pleasant. The homes have all the appliances that you could imagine for a vacation home. You can use this as your home base and drive anywhere around the Finger Lakes of New York!! I think my heart rate dropped 20%!!! The residences are very unique, and will convince you to never stay in a hotel again!!! We will be coming back again!! The perfect meeting place for families from different parts of the country!!   My husband and I thought the Finger Lakes would be the perfect place to celebrate 10 beautiful years together. We couldn't have had a more romantic, relaxing vacation! The Hemlock cottage was cozy, relaxing, and most importantly, just like home! We were able to bring our dogs AKA kids along, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The view from the cabin was beautiful and the wineries and vineyards were magnificant. We could have only hoped for better weather! Thank you to Cobtree for providing us with our best vacation yet. We will most certainly be back!!

  We were a little apprehensive back in October 2008 when we booked out first week at Cobtree. It was the first time we made reservations over the Internet. Well, we loved that week so much we have just returned from our eighth visit. The setting is exquisite –farmland, woods and a beautiful view of Lake Seneca. Yet 10 minutes away is Wegmans and a number of fine restaurants. Each day we choose a different State Park or waterfalls as our destination –with stops along the way at the wonderful Finger Lakes wineries. And we have our lovely cottage or cabin at Cobtree to come home to. Our dogs love walking in the woods every morning and evening. Jack and I look forward to our breakfast on the deck and our glass of wine in the evening watching the sun set. You really don’t have to bring a thing. It is the most well-equipped place we have ever stayed. And Robert and Jane are wonderful hosts -- warm and welcoming. We have travelled throughout Europe and the US over the years, but Cobtree is now our only vacation destination.

  Our stay in the Hemlock Cabin was everything we expected and MORE!! The cabin was exactly as listed, size, layout, amenities....The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy your stay, from pots&pans, glasses, even coffee, filters, tea and a wine bottle opener! :) The cabin was immaculately clean and welcoming. We will not only recommend this to friends and relatives but will be returning ourselves! Cant wait to come in warm weather to enjoy the views from the porch! We enjoyed the proximity to all the vineyards. We always love walking around Watkins Glen and took in Sushi from Hong Restaurant! Thanks again!
