This charming northwoods-styled home is fully furnished and decorated with a mountain lodge theme. Our home can sleep up to eighteen people and is perfect for large family gatherings, family reunions, multi-family get-togethers or large groups. It is located on a quiet private street. This is a three level home that features a large great room and master bedroom, both with 22 foot vaulted ceilings. The sleeping areas include five bedrooms plus a loft. The home has three and a half baths and includes a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen with knotty pine cabinets has upgraded stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. There are three decks, two of which overlook a greenbelt with trees, a meadow and a seasonal stream behind the house. This is a perfect spot to enjoy the summer wildflowers and songbirds or stroll on the wooded path. In the winter the greenbelt draws the adventurous for sledding or snowshoeing.
You’ll enjoy socializing by the large bay of 20 foot high windows in the expansive great room with a gas thermostatically-controlled fireplace. The comfortable seating encourages relaxation while visiting with family and friends. Kids of all ages will enjoy the family game room to play board games, watch TV or shoot a game of pool.
The home is located in North Lake Tahoe’s historic town of Truckee, California in the exclusive ‘Tahoe Donner” resort area. It is close to year-round outdoor and leisure activities. World-class skiing is within 15-20 minutes including Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Boreal and Sugar Bowl ski areas. Our local Tahoe Donner Ski Area is a mile away for fun family-friendly skiing. Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski facility with its extensive trail system is just a five minute drive from the home. Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake are close by for their many associated water and beach activities. Coyote Moon and Tahoe Donner Golf courses are within a five minute drive. Trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding are all nearby. Reno casinos, shopping, and night life are thirty minutes from our Tahoe Donner home.

Reunionhouse spectacular. Absolutely perfect. Exactly as advertised. Seven days of non stop activity with a perfect home to wind down to at the end of day. Our ages renged from 19 to 80 and there were opportunities for all to enjoy. Some had not been toghether for 25+ years. What a trip! Highly reccomended to any gropup that wants all inclusoive lodging experience.We came from all corners of the earth to be together.

There were 14 of us mothers and daughters for a girls weekend. This house was perfect for us. The photos presented are exactly like the house. We loved having the big spacious living area and eating area. We ate, drank, played cards and even did a little hiking at the near by trail. The owner was very helpful in pointing out all the activities available. I would recommend this house to everyone. It is perfect. Thank you for opening it up to us.

This is a great home for a summer family vacation. My wife and I discovered Tahoe Donner in the late 70's and took our four children there four years in a row. We have now returned almost 30 years later with our adult children, their spouses and our seven grandchildren. The house is well equipped and worked perfectly. We really enjoyed all its extra amenities,(pool table, ping pong, basketball, bikes,games,movies etc.) We also enjoyed all the activities available to adults and children at Tahoe Donner: the beautiful Tahoe Donner golf course,the tennis club, Northwoods and Trout Creek clubhouses and pools, and boating on Lake Donner to mention a few. We also were able to spend an afternoon at the North shore of Lake Tahoe, and take a raft down the Truckee river. We enjoyed good family friendly restaurants in near-by Truckee as well as excellent meals at the Lodge Restaurant at the Tahoe Donner golf club. But our favorite meals were barbeques on the rear deck and dining among the pines.

The home was the focal point of our annual golf trip. This Tahoe Donner home is very clean and very comfortable with everything you need to feel at home. The rooms are spacious, has plenty of beds, baths and closets. Central location to all outdoor activities, golf, restaurants and Reno. Great communication with the home owners before and after the stay. We definitly look forward to returning next year!!

Our administrative team held a retreat here. The house is clean, spacious, nicely furnished, and has a well-equipped kitchen. The house and its location made it great for working, team-building, and relaxing. In early mornings and in the evenings our group took walks in the beautiful, quiet neighborhood and along nearby paths. And while shopping, dining, and entertainment were just a short drive away, we opted to spend our free time at this terrific property. I definitely recommend it!

GREAT house! Accommodated our group perfectly. Plenty of common area to socialize while still having lots of privacy. Kitchen was well stocked and perfect for feeding a hungry crowd! Would definitely stay here again!!

Nine years ago we were looking to find a ski cabin to share with a few good friends and family. We never thought we would find a place that we would want to go back to year after year. This wonderful cabin has been a refuge for our family that my kids treasure as a tradition. We love the fact that this place is spacious, centrally located and just beautiful. Great House, We always get together for superbowl weekend with two other families...and this house is perfect for our kids and us. The great room is nice, the large table is perfect and the kitchen is fantastic. The kids love the bunk beds down stairs and the little room upstairs. The location is perfect for skiing at tahoe donner and sleding ...great house

Many of the gals we went to high school with get together yearly for "fun"! This home was the best of all we've found. What made it so? The setting, safe walking areas, sleeping accommodations for 17, plenty of utensils and well-equipped kitchen. The serenity of the surrounding area added to the overall feeling of being far away; yet shopping and activities are close by. We definitely would rent this home again!

The owner of this home anticipated all of our need and met or exceeded them. The home is very well-cared for, and had enough room for all of our extended family members. The setting is beautiful and quiet. It is close enough to Lake Tahoe and yet far enough from the over-commercialization of the area. We definitely thought it was a great value. My family had a wonderful time there and built great memories. We had no issue with setting up the rental, getting the keys and directions or getting our deposits back. We will definitely rent this home again if we have another vacation in Lake Tahoe.
