Enjoy the spectacular water front view of these 2 private acres with a deck overlooking the Bend of the Green River in a natural wooded setting. River’s Bend is a beautifully furnished cabin that sleeps 6-8 people. The Loft has a queen bed that sleeps 2 people and has its own private bathroom. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, one with a trundle bed that accommodates 2 people, and one bedroom with bed bunks that accommodates 2 people. They also have their own bathroom.
The basement has a futon that can accommodate up to 2, a full bathroom, with a fully loaded game room, and a surround sound system. All linens are provided along with a complete kitchen. We have Plasma TV’s and Electric Fireplaces. Enjoy our outside porch with rockers, small patio set and gas grill. We have provided an outdoor fire pit area. Take the kids to the private park at the entrance of the main gate. Green River Highlands is a gated community, nestled in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains, It is located off Hwy. 74; exit 173 (Union Road), just west of the town of Rutherfordton, NC.

We stayed in this lovely cabin over Christmas week. It's was fun for the entire family. My kids loved the rec room and enjoyed walking around the river. The favorite memory was smore's by the outside fire pit. We went for long walks through the neighborhood. The owners were very pleasant to work with and the place was very clean. If you are looking for a nice relaxing family vacation spot "THE VIEW" is the place to go.

The Cabin and the area was beautiful. Very nice new cabin and the kids loved the game room. One night two possums came to the game room glass door and looked inside for awhile and the kids loved it. We had a great time and the owners were very responsive to the couple of times I called with questions. Thanks again for renting us the cabin.

We had 5 of us at the cabin and had more than enough room for all - having 3 bathrooms was a HUGE plus with 3 teenagers. The ammenities in the cabin far exceeded what we had expected. Cabin was spotless and it was like being in a brand new cabin it was so wonderful we can't say that enough. The location was perfect - Green River right out side our door, the kids loved to go swimming in the evenings. Short drives to all the things we had on our list to do during the week. Chimney Rock Mountain, Tubing on the Green River (was awesome and really inexpensive), spent a day in Asheville and did the Ghost Hunters tour at night in Asheville. A great time was had by all. Our teens didn't want to leave they felt so comfy and happy with the space & of course the game room was a big big hit. Thanks so much for sharing your cabin with us.
