The perfect quiet private romantic spot for couples, smaller families, or surfers! Enjoy the sound of the ocean waves that will rock you to sleep. This is a private, exclusive neighborhood home located on a bluff, positioned directly overlooking the Monterey bay with a keyed private beach entry. Also there is an electric remote control gate that isolates the property from the street.
Smell the ocean breeze. Watch the sunset on the water from the balcony or beach. There is very little foot or vehicle traffic here. This rental has a separate private entrance and is a fully independent unit (just bring food and clothes). It is attached to our large house.
If you are looking for peace and tranquility, yet want quick access to major beach towns such as Santa Cruz and Monterey, this is the place (Santa Cruz is 12 miles North and Monterey is 30 miles South). There is a small-town corner grocery store. It's a 1 block walk and a wonderful beach is just steps away.
There is a large hot tub and an outdoor shower in the backyard. This is without a doubt the most fully equipped, beautiful and peaceful location, yet it is minutes from the major beach towns and tourist attractions. It's also just steps away from a known great surf spot, Manresa Beach.
You can practically drive next to the water with your board, swimsuit, sun umbrella and towel. The Grey Whale season is Jan-Mar and Monarch Butterfly season is Oct-Feb. Please feel free to give me a call and I'll answer all your questions! Bill.

The Unique Benefits at this Attached Cottage
You'll find the main benefit is the private, quiet neighborhood atmosphere - yet you are just a few freeway minutes from the bubbling city of Santa Cruz. The Monterey aquarium is about 1/2 hour away. The property has an electric security gate that closes it off completely from the street. A stroll to our beach is just a few yards away. You've got the best of all worlds in this location. The climate here is probably the most in-tune to human existence! We enjoy the natural air conditioning from the Monterey Bay.
Rollercoaster (wooden and historic!), rides, arcade, food, world famous.

Anna's parents bought this property in the 70's and passed it down to her in the mid-80's. Anna has just finished getting her RN degree and is hoping to work in a local hospital. Bill has worked in various Electronic Engineering environments. He has done a lot of world travel and hasn't found any location more desirable than this one. We are both involved in music, and are recording together as we produce a collaborated CD effort. Both of us love this area because it is so pristine, peaceful and naturally beautiful. We are usually available for assistance with questions, directions and local information.
