High bulk headed back yard offers great scene of fishing and sailboats coming in and out of the inner harbor from your private pool in large back deck over looking the water.
Or fish off your dock for (strippers, trout and drum) or rent a boat at the marina (1/4 mile by boat) and keep it at the dock during your stay, or bring your own! River access is even closer.
Enjoy the house, the inside has been exquisitely furnished for your comfort. Feel safe, you will be in one of the coastal Carolina's premiere gated waterfront communities. Just across the Neuse from downtown New Bern. You will still be close to New Bern's historic sites, waterfront and downtown restaurants and shopping.
As if there were not enough to do in New Bern itself, the ocean and beaches are less than an hour away, and the quaint waterfront towns of Beaufort and Morehead City are even closer. We stayed at this location during the winter months. The location is beautiful and convenient to many local amenities at the resort. Paula and John were gracious and attentive during our stay making sure everything we needed was available. The location has a boat slip which is great if you are bringing your boat to the area. The pictures really don't do this home justice. This is a wonderful home in a great location.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
