It has expansive views of the bay. You will enjoy the incredible sunsets! Looking towards Old Mission Peninsula the sunset dramatically displays blazing colors of orange, red and pink over the lake's horizon. In all of this glory the sunset disappears leaving a sky full of stars to be enjoyed.
Enjoy the brick patio surrounded by gardens while barbecuing your favorite meal on the grill, as the children play in the sand and water. The sandy beach is magnificient. There are no nasty weeds, only the rich sugar sand to enjoy. The water level extends a great distance before depth increases, very safe for children. So be sure to relax on the beach, go for a swim, it's perfect for fishing, boating, tubing, skiing, or just sitting in that comfortable beach chair with your feet at the waters edge, reading that book that you never have time for. - Long walks on the sandy beach--head north for a two mile walk into the village of Elk Rapids. First thing you will notice is the friendliness of the villagers. The village has antique shops, several fine restaurants, the harbor sits below the historic library, a lovely historical museum worth visiting connected to the Old Township Hall in the lower level. On your way back stop at the beach with the kids to the day park located on S. Bay Shore. Or take a hike and explore Petobego Pond to the south, our local nature preserve. There are many golf courses, Turtle Creek Casino, great shopping and find dining in Traverse City, hiking and winery tours. Don't forget to visit historical Mackinaw Island or the famous Sleeping Bear Dunes.
Rate Details (In US Dollars)
June to end of Aug, $3500 weekly rental or $600 a night
minimum 3 days check in at 4:00 p.m./check out at 11:00 a.m.
1st payment of 50% due at time of executing this agreement by mail
2nd (final) payment of 50% is due six wks prior to commencement of rental by mail
Michigan 6% sales tax & cleaning costs of $200 will be added.
A separate security deposit check of $500 is required with second payment
