  Enjoyed our stay at Nirvana and wish the week had not gone by so fast! The oceanfront house with all the big windows provided wonderful views from morning to night, and being so close to the beach was perfect for our family. We had 2 excellent meals at Sting Wrays and got fresh fish from the local fish market, both within a couple of minutes from the house. The owner was easy to contact and work with. We look forward to staying at Nirvana again!

  The house was nice to stay in, I felt safe even though we dont get out much on vacations. Could hear the ocean waves rolling in and was just a stone throw away from the beach, Enjoyed getting up in the morning and opening up the patio door to the ocean "there's nothing like it". Played my guitar on the porch when the sun was going down which felt as if I was playing to the gods seeing nothing but ocean. Saved a bundle on pier fee's since the house had previously made arrangements with the pier owners and being an avid fisherman. Had a great time while I was there and would recommend the concierge services also for linens, they were clean and there upon my arrival, they are also great on information concerning events and where to go for entertainment. Look forward to staying there again next year. Owners were easy to get along with and understanding and the property was just as expected after seeing the pictures and the cleanliness of the house. If your a fisherman the Pier and the Rt 50 bridge is a big hit. Have a good time while your there as time goes by quickly, enjoy.

  House very conveniently located, the pier is few houses down, convenience store at the end of the street. We had a great time. Water activities on the bay side not to far from the house. Had an absolute blast. Will come again next year. The surf was awesome!!!

  Many rental houses in the OBX are quite a walk to the surf. Not at Nirvana. Literally, you are in the ocean in under a minute. The wrap-around porch is excellent, shady by 1pm, with the great view of the beach and Atlantic. You are so close you can hear the ocean with ease 24 hours a day. The grocery and other stores are within three to five minutes. The rooms, the kitchen, the bathrooms, and the porch have everything we have at home. I could not recommend this property more. We are sold and looking forward to next year.

  Nirvana is the #1 place to stay on the Outer Banks and one of my best travel experiences. Off the beaten path, but close to all the tourist attractions. Worth the drive to Rodanthe. A short walk down the beach, you stroll past the Serendipity House featured in the "Nights of Rodanthe". I recommend watching the movie prior to going, but if you run out of time...the movie is at Nirvana. The owner is fantastic, responsive and provides an easy VRBO vacation. Photos describe the property; however, they just can't capture the essence of Nirvana or Rodanthe. Enoy the morning sunrise on the expansive deck as surfers paddle out. The large open floor plan with windows everywhere, tongue and groove workmanship, comfortable furniture and everything a kitchen needs provides a perfect beach vacation. Collect shells, starfish and driftwood right in front of the house. For the fishermen, a spillway is right in front of the house. Lots of fish to catch. The pier is a 2 minute walk from the house. Not to mention...the large hot tub provides a view of the sunrise AND sunset! Where in the world can you watch the sun rise and set without ever moving! Right next to the Liberty gas station lies a fresh seafood market, 1 mile from the house. We ate fresh seafood daily at half the cost. Next to the seafood market, you can rent a bike, surfboard, and more at the same location (and they deliver). Enjoy a day trip to experience soaring 2000ft in a tandum hang glider or solo flight at Jockey's Ridge with Kitty Hawk Kites. This house is romantic for couples and perfect for families. We had planned to stay 4 nights, but extended to 8 nights. We just couldn't imagine leaving the perfect vacation. I highly recommend Nirvana for your next vacation experience! We plan to visit yearly!

  We had the best time. The house was great for us,just a few steps to the waters edge.Great get away for me and my wife.Owner was exceptional to deal with.We will return again in 2010.Hope to see you all at the obx.

  First time using VRBO. Easy transaction and great experience. Will use again. Owner was great with contact and information. The house was so close to the water that it was hard to come in from the deck at night. Great views. Kitchen was welled stocked with anything you might need and there's a TV in every bedroom. Had a great time and can't wait to visit the OBX again!!

  This was THE perfect house! The view was amazing. I cannot say how pleased we were with the countless amenities! We walked in the door and immediatly felt like we were home! The owners have been wonderful with communication! This was my first time with VRBO and I was BLOWN AWAY! Our family hopes to call this house "home" for years to come! Nirvana indeed, it is the ULTIMATE in a vacation home!
