The ower of Karin, Thank you for vevryting . My husband and I enjoyed your cottage a lot. We have stayed at meny places wherever we have traveled;Therefore, Your place is so clean, and we like the decorations in the house everywhere such as lavenda flowers ; the colors of beding , etc. The garden mekes us feel so relax, too. We will return to your lovely bungalow for sure . Wei and John

Had an exceptional stay at the Stone's Throw Bungalow recently in Ashland, OR. The accommodations were so amazing, exceptionally clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The owners has thought of everything possible to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. I have stayed at some 4-star hotels that could take a lesson from Stone's Throw Bungalow. The surrounding gardens are lovely and so relaxing to look out over and experience. I will be back next time I am in Ashland. What a find!!

A wonderful retreat!

We stayed at Stone's Throw for one week while celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. The bungalow was very clean, warm, and inviting. We felt right at home. The garden was gorgeous and perfect for relaxing breakfasts. The bed and pillows were so comfy, we slept wonderfully. The walk to downtown was pretty. The walk back at night after the shows was safe, as well. Karin thought of everything one would need for your stay. She was very kind and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. We would recommend this to our closest friends and hope we are able to stay here again when we come back in a few years. Thank you, Karin, for sharing your little piece of Ashland with us!

Stone's Throw Bunaglow

Pleasant & quiet neighborhood within waking distance to downtown plays & shopping. bungalow is cozy & comfortable. Open the windows at night & listen to the breeze while you sleep. Back yard is a real plus, great for lunching, sipping coffee or reading a book in the sun or shade. Guy & Karen are excellent hosts. Highly recommended!

Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a wonderful experience. Hosts made us feel quite at home. Comfortable, clean and quiet accommodations. Falling asleep each night under the stars was a real treat. We look forward to our next visit.

Peaceful Retreat

My husband and I had a wonderful three weeks at Stones Throw Bungalow. We often cooked in the well stocked kitchenette and ate out in the lovely, peaceful garden. The bed is very comfortable and the air conditioning quiet and excellent. The property is charming and well maintained. We had a comfortable, private, romantic stay, with tender loving care from the owner. We often took the pleasant 15-minute walk to town and the theater. I highly recommend it and hope to return.

Our stay was delightful. The cottage was sparkling clean, and the hosts, Guy & Karin were genuinely welcoming. We couldn't have asked for more.

Everything you need and nothing you don't

Charming, clean, comfortable, close-in....beautifulgarden space and perfect location. It would be tough to prepare full hot meals for more than two people...but you're on vacation, right? Owners are very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a great Ashland experience. Hope I have the opportunity to return. (There are a couple of steps, so choose somewhere else if you have severe mobility constraints.)

A Wonderful Few Days In the Stone's Throw Bungalow

My husband and I experienced one of our best trips to Ashland, Oregon last week. Staying in the Stone's Throw Bungalow was the primary reason. The hosts, Karin and Guy, were warm, helpful and estraordinarily accomodating - more like old friends we had come to visit. The bungalow was cozy and charmingly decorated . The kitchen was well equipped for light meals. One of the aspects we enjoyed the most was the lovely garden sitting area just outside our door. We enjoyed breakfast there as well as a late night cap by moonlight after returning from the plays. We plan on returning to Stone's Throw for a more lengthy stay.

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A Beautiful Escape

My expectations of what would be upon my arrival were blown away! Karin has created a beautiful oasis that allows you to relax and enjoy the beauty that she has created. The garden was beautiful and it was so peaceful to sit out in the mornings and soak up the sunshine, birds and flowers. The cottage itself was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. Looking up at stars was a delight to drift into sleep at the end of the day. When I came home I immediately told a friend who is going to Ashland in September about this little peace of heaven, as I know they would enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you Karin and I look forward to returning in the future.

Perfect Sanctuary

My daughter and I stayed here in June 2011 for four nights while attending workshops at OSF. It's a lovely 15-20 minute walk to the theaters - helpful exercise when enjoying the many great restaurants in Ashland! The cottage is beautifully appointed and the garden is a little slice of paradise. Nights were completely quiet and we always felt totally safe, even while walking home after late shows. Karin has that rare and perfect balance of concern and respect for her guests' privacy, and we look forward to returning to her hospitality.
