My expectations of what would be upon my arrival were blown away! Karin has created a beautiful oasis that allows you to relax and enjoy the beauty that she has created. The garden was beautiful and it was so peaceful to sit out in the mornings and soak up the sunshine, birds and flowers. The cottage itself was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. Looking up at stars was a delight to drift into sleep at the end of the day. When I came home I immediately told a friend who is going to Ashland in September about this little peace of heaven, as I know they would enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you Karin and I look forward to returning in the future.
Owner response:I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed the peacefulness of the garden in the mornings. It's one of my favorite spots, too. Thank you for referring your friend - I look forward to meeting them and I hope to see you again in the future.

My daughter and I stayed here in June 2011 for four nights while attending workshops at OSF. It's a lovely 15-20 minute walk to the theaters - helpful exercise when enjoying the many great restaurants in Ashland! The cottage is beautifully appointed and the garden is a little slice of paradise. Nights were completely quiet and we always felt totally safe, even while walking home after late shows. Karin has that rare and perfect balance of concern and respect for her guests' privacy, and we look forward to returning to her hospitality.
Owner response:Thank you - it was a pleasure having you here. I'm so glad that you were able to sample some of Ashland's outstanding restaurants and that you enjoyed the great walk to town (I know I do!) I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with others. I look forward to your return.

Our stay in your very beautiful bungalow couldn't have been more perfect! You have tended to absolutely every little detail to make one's stay so comfy. How we enjoyed taking our coffee out to your sunny little garden each morning to enjoy it among your oasis of flowers! We long to return as three days was surely not enough to enjoy your sweet city - so much here we have yet to experience. As sis-in-laws for many, many years we've done our fair share of travel together, but we must return here. Thank you.

Thank you so much. We had a great long weekend. Crater Lake was magical and Beckie's Pies did not disappoint. Lithia Park was a nice find - loved taking a 2+ hour hike without getting into our car. Amuse was superb. We also had a nice visit with the bartender at Louie's watching our Sharks hockey team.

Our initial exploration of Ashland was an absolute success. From OSF to the Cabaret Theater. From the Rogue River trip to gentle walks downtown...we experienced some great, diverse elements of Ashland. And your delightful, comfortable bungalow made it all the better! Even the bikes added yet another element of adventure! Thank you.

We couldn't have stayed at a nicer place. Everyone is friendly and the plays were fantastic. We like your wall heaters and we plan to install one in our bathroom. We bought tickets for three plays and ended up going to five. Tuesday matinee was a surprise rush sale and we got to see Macbeth for $12 a seat! The homes around here are beautiful, as is yours. Thanks for the loaner bikes - we made it all the way to Talent one morning.
