Ours is a charming 2,000 square foot single-family home located on the fourth fairway of the Sonoran course at Oakwood, a private, gated community in Sun Lakes. It is beautifully decorated with a Tuscan flair with warm, inviting colors and conveniences throughout. Relax in one of our matching recliners in the living room, and watch your favorite programs on our big screen HDTV with surround sound.
Curl up with a good book on the chaise lounge in the den. Watch HDTV on the loveseat or the king bed in the master bedroom. Take a nap on the double bed in the second bedroom or the day bed in the front bedroom. Do a little web surfing in the office. Better yet, unplug your computer and do your surfing from anywhere around the house (including the patio) -- the high-speed internet is wireless!
Whip up a fine meal in our full kitchen, or if you prefer outdoor cooking, pour yourself a refreshment and fire up the gas BBQ on the covered patio. Don't worry about getting too warm out there, the two outdoor ceiling fans will cool you off. When the meal is ready, you can eat on the patio or inside. The formal dining room seats 8, the informal breakfast nook seats 4, or you can grab a quick bite at the breakfast bar.
When you want to venture out of the house, Oakwood boasts plenty of things to keep you busy. You will have full access to both the Oakwood and Ironwood facilities, which feature beautiful clubhouses with amenities aplenty. In addition to 45 holes of golf, you can enjoy tennis courts, gigantic heated pools, spas, hot tubs, arts & crafts center, outdoor poolside restaurant & sports bar.
There are more than 100 organized activities -- just pick the ones you want! There are also miles of walking paths for those who enjoy strolling and physical exercise. You can also escape the boundaries of Sun Lakes and enjoy the multitude of activities in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area. If you're feeling adventurous, Tucson, Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon are all a few hours away.

Why the Owner Chose Sun Lakes
We bought the home because we intend to retire to Sun Lakes. We have family there and we were attracted to Sun Lakes because of their many amenities and activities. We are looking forward to a life of leisure there after our kids have left the nest, but also loved the idea of sharing our home with others in the interim.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Sun Lakes offers so many activities that it's hard to imagine getting bored there. If that should ever happen, it's nice to venture outside the development and take advantage of everything the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area has to offer. Shopping, restaurants, golf, tennis, water sports, even casinos are all a short drive away. The area lacks for nothing -- except cold weather!

We have just returned from a stay in this property. It is everything in the description and more. The owner was great to deal with and always available if needed. The home is clean, beautifully decorated, televisions included Direct TV, and a laptop and printer in the office.

We were concerned never being able to see the house first, but we walked in the door and it was just perfect. The house was very clean, the beds was very comfortable and the space was just great. Having Internet access, so many appliances and cookware allowed us to have family dinners as well. We also enjoyed spending the evenings outside the patio with the gas firepit. We loved all the relaxing this house allowed us! We would definitely stay here again! Colleen and Glen :-)

What a lovely place to relax, enjoy the sunshine, golfing, shopping and dining. The patio was awesome--so many area that the sun was always on us. The home is decorated with style and beds are soooo comfortable. Every amenity was provided right down to the crockpot!! The owners were so available to answer questions. They thought of everything to make our stay perfect. We will definitely go back.

This was an amazing property and what a great location. The pictures do not even do it justice. The views from the deck are beautiful. It was a great place to kick back and relax! The home was clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The landscaping was attractive as well. The location was convenient for shopping, golfing, and great restaurants. I would most certainly recommend this property to anyone! We look forward to going back soon!
