This charming private home has true Vermont flavor inside and out. Nestled into a wooded mountain above the White River just off Rt. 100, you are only about 10 miles from the Killington/Pico Resorts, or another 45 minutes on Rt. 100 to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, and about 15 minutes to less crowded Middlebury Bowl.
The house features a large fieldstone fireplace centered in a cathedral ceiling living room with hardwood floors and pine trim throughout. Lovely views come through sliding glass doors off the dining room, leading to the covered deck with a large stainless steel gas grill. More views and natural light shine through a large, wood-beamed atrium adjoining the living room and a second atrium in the master suite.
The 4 bedrooms can sleep up to 10 people; the fold-out sofa accepts two more. There is a master suite upstairs with a king-size bed, private bath, and loft with sauna. There are 3 bedrooms on the lower level featuring one double-bed room, a one-bunk-bed room, a two-bunk-bed room, as well as 1.5 baths and a washer & dryer. Linens & towels provided
The roomy full kitchen and nearby wet bar has all you need to entertain or serve family meals on a large dining room table with fireplace views.
