Perfectly restored according to the original projects, furnished with old-fashioned, rural, Tuscan furniture but with high-level comforts, "Il Roseto" assures a pleasant stay even during late-autumn and winter months.
Being placed in a dominating position right above two valleys, "Il Roseto" holiday rental villa makes every window become a "painting" of the wonderful Tuscan countryside. "Il Roseto" is composed of two separate and self-sufficient units that form a traditional Tuscan hamlet. The Villa can accommodate up to 14 guests and the annexe up to 4. "Il Roseto", although structured as a private residence, has earned the qualification of "4 spikes" in the agricultural tourism area, for the quality given and for its good guest reception.
The village is a typical Medieval stone hilltop hamlet, offering lovely views, an intimate feel that makes you experience a true Tuscan feel. A coop, a restaurant, an internet point, a newsagent and 2 bars ensure you have everything at hand.
The area around Montalcinello is known for its beauty, but mainly for its spiritual and historical interest. The nearby Abbey of San Galgano, the many spas, the vicinity to Siena make

We fell in love with this place for its natural beauty, for its lush garden (over 500 plants/flowers/roses) the quiet and harmony the surrounding gave us and because of the activities you can do in the area.
The Unique Benefits of this Farmhouse
We love walking and cycling and the area abounds in trails. It is also very conveniently located to visit other areas of Tuscany like Siena, San Galgano, Maremma, Volterra; there are always plenty of cultural events within 20 minutes drive; it is very close to thermal baths; it is next to our favourite village (Radicondoli) where you have the best pizzas with a view; it is 15 minutes from the river where we adore swimming in the summer, and it is reached by broadband internet which is miraculous for rural Tuscany!!! People are very nice and prices are much much cheaper. You just do not feel like a tourist.
