Nestled amongst many northern Michigan evergreens and various deciduous trees, this non-smoking, 2400 square foot home with finished walk-out sits on two and a half acres with 100 frontage feet on beautiful Intermediate Lake. All of the bedrooms are large with lots of sleeping capacity. The open first floor plan includes spacious living and dining areas with two-story cathedral ceiling. The adjacent kitchen with its bar counter has all of the modern appliances. The family/TV room in the walk-out is also large and full bathrooms on each floor. The balcony and patio are conveniently set up for outdoor grilling, dining or just lounging.
The sandy beach with private dock makes water play enjoyable for the entire family. Plenty of room to anchor boats, jet skis and other water toys with the public boat launch only a mile away.
The warm, crystal clear water of Intermediate lake makes it great for fishing, swimming, water skiing, tubing and wake boarding. Enjoy the sights of ducks, geese, swans, loons, sea gulls, beavers, otters, mink, muskrat and eagles as you navigate up and down the more than 30 miles of shoreline through out the chain-of-lakes. Golfing is at a premium as you are close to many of northern Michigan's most beautiful championship golf courses. Also near by are Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain Resorts providing great down hill and cross-country skiing and snow tubing during the winter and championship golf during spring, summer and fall. Wine tasting and color tours are favorite activities during the fall. For the gambling at heart, there are the Turtle Creek and Leelanau Sands casinos near Traverse City and Victories casino in Petoskey.
Only minutes away are the downtown areas of Central Lake and Bellaire where you will find quaint shops and great dining. You can also venture out for the day to visit Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Harbor Springs or Mackinac Island.

We built this home as a family get away in 2000 and have enjoyed years of fun and cherished times as our children have grown. We are now excited to share our beautiful home with others.
Why the Owner Chose Central Lake
Intermediate lake is beautiful and perfect for complete family enjoyment. It is conveniently located near many of Michigan's top attractions and areas of interest. We have used this home as a base for day trips to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes in Empire, wine country in the Leelanau Peninsula, site seeing and shopping in Traverse City, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Mackinac Island. The home is perfectly located for year-round enjoyment with water play, site seeing and golf in the summer, wine tasting and color tours in the fall and snow skiing and tubing in the winter. Boating or jet skiing through the chain-of-lakes is particularly fun providing hours of pleasure.
The Unique Benefits of this Home
Our home has all of the modern conveniences in spacious surroundings of 2400 square feet. All of the bedrooms have their own closets with the first floor bedroom adjacent to a full bath. There are two large bedrooms in the finished walk-out with multiple beds along with the other full bath. The loft is also large with two beds and a closet and enclosed with its own door. The layout of the home provides for quiet separation for two families. The living room with gas fireplace and adjacent dining area on the first floor are also large with a cathedral ceiling. The family room located in the walk out has plenty of room for everyone to watch TV or movies on a rainy day. There are also futons through out the walk out that open into additional beds. You will enjoy private and quite surroundings as you look out the windows and see only beautiful northern Michigan pine, cedar, maple, oak, aspen and birch trees on the two and one-half acre lot.
