Barrington Park is located in a very peaceful setting, just a minute's walk from the 12-mile stretch of beach. It is close to the bike paths that run almost the entire length of the island. Top-rated golf and world-class tennis are also close by. Boasted as "the best in Palmetto Dunes," Barrington has a beautiful pool and spa, which are heated year round.
From the private balcony of our first-floor villa, you will enjoy watching the lagoon and its wildlife. With a south-easterly view, the villa captures the morning sunlight.
The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and an entertainment center containing a TV/DVD; the bathroom and walk-in closet lead from the bedroom. The living room has a queen-size sofa bed, matching love seat and chair, and an amoire housing the entertainment center. There is a good-size half bathroom available for any overnight guest or one or two small children traveling with you.
The dining area seats four and overlooks the lagoon. In addition there are two stools at an eating bar overlooking the fully-equipped kitchen. A stackable washer/driver is available for self-laundry.
This is a ground-floor villa with 7 steps to the entry door of the villa itself. The parking area is just outside; as well there is a location to secure your rented bicycles.

Year Purchased: 1998
Alex was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. Barbara hails from London, England. Their permanent home is in Concord, California, which is approximately 25 miles east of beautiful San Francisco. "We first visited Hilton Head in 1995, where and when we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We fell in love with everything about Hilton Head, and knew then that we would some day like to buy a place of our own there. We were fortunate to be able to do that in 1998 and have been enjoying it eversince. We also own a lovely home on the golf course in Sun City, Palm Desert, CA, which is another most beautiful place to visit. See our VRBO listing #249435."

Walking the beach has to be the most enjoyable aspect of staying in our lovely condo/villa. The overall peace and quite while sitting on our patio, watching a heron by the edge of the lagoon. The many great restaurants to chose from. Walking the trails. Golf for Alex. What more could we ask for!?

My wife and I spent a great week here. Condo was well equiped, and had a lot of little extras - like extra linens, and the kitchen had coffee, and spices - which is always nice.

This was our first visit to Hilton Head and we had a most enjoyable vacation. We found this villa as clean, comfortable and bright as depicted. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything we could want or need was provided. Impeccably kept grounds and ease of beach access made daily walks and bike rides enjoyable. There are many good restaurants in the area and shopping at The Fresh Market was a gourmet's delight. We would certainly recommend this villa and hope to return.

We want to so graciously thank you for the use of your villa. We had an absolute ball. The weather was wonderful, the location was perfect, the beach walks were great. Nicely done condo that is decorated with a soft color palette. It's neat, clean and organized with a well equipped kitchen. We like the easy access with in front parking. It's only a short walk to pool, hot tub and beach. We have stayed here 3 years in a row and it's always the same.. Thanks for sharing your Life Is Good condo.

This was our first visit to HHI and we were taken by the beauty of this area with its canopy of trees along the road to your place. Your condo felt like home rifght away and we were so pleased with all the extras you provided. The balcony was perfect for my husband to relax, while I enjoyed the beautiful pool each day. This truly was a very relaxing vacationo for both of us, which we really needed.

It was a little bit of a conern, reserving sight unseen over the Inernet for us, but we feel like "we hit the jackpot!" A lovely place, great location, and a wonderful week all the way around. Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing your lovely "Island getaway" with us. We hope to be back.

This has been a wonderful week away. We came to Hilton Head for a small family reunion/vacation. We couldn't be happier with the villa and grounds. We had a beautiful week with all sun and no rain. The kids spent hours at the pool and beach. Thank you for opening up your villa to us! We hope to be back soon!
