Year Purchased: 2008
A native Californian moved to the midwest by marriage just HAD to be able to get back to her roots on occasion. We both love to golf and living in Chicago allows us to be in the right climate at the right time of the year. This is hopefully one day our retirement home but in the meantime, it is our getaway. We love to entertain so you can understand why we chose this home. It has all the amenities you need for entertaining yet also has all the privacy you want with the entirely enclosed yard with pool, jacuzzi, fire-pit, waterfall, and BBQ. A short walk to El Paseo and we have everything---restaurants, bars, shops!
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We both love to golf and Palm Desert offers great golf nearby--you could literally golf a different course every day. Through Ford Properties, you can get a temporary membership to Ironwood golf club--a fabulous private country club. On the days we don't golf and in the evenings we can walk to the world famous El Paseo full of shops and great restaurants and bars. You could eat at a different restaurant every day within walking distance. Hiking, the painted desert sanctuary, and a shopping mall are very close nearby.

Our home offers outdoor living in a beautiful climate with a private large pebble tec swimming pool, waterfall, jacuzzi, swim-up bar, fire-pit, mister, chaise lounges all over, outdoor kitchen and bar----you could literally live outside if you wanted to! An expansive covered terrace with large patio table and chairs for those who prefer shade sits alongside the pool. We have 2 bikes for getting around the area a little quicker than footsteps.
