Our cottage is part of a 5 acre country setting in northeast Tucson. The cottage guests enjoy the desert charm and mountain views with abundant outdoor seating. Hike to the Saguaro National Park East, one mile away or stroll down the uncluttered roads and hiking trails in this horse country environment.
The four room cottage is fully furnished in a southwest style: Bedroom with queen bed; bath with shower; modern equipped kitchen; Living/dining room with TV cabinet and WiFi availability. There are numerous outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. There is a private driveway and parking area for our guests. Small dogs are warmly welcomed.
Shopping, restaurants and entertainment are minutes away. The University of Arizona is located in Tucson and has many public performances. There are many attraction to visit and things to do in the area or just just sit and enjoy the view or read a good book.

The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
We particularly enjoy the peacefulness of this area. We have a good deal of wildlife and a large bird population. The area is known for its rural atmosphere. Many neighbors have horses and it is not unusual to meet a rider while hiking. We additionally enjoy the opportunities that downtown Tucson provide, culturally and educationally.

For the past five years we have enjoyed the mild winters, dry climate and Tucson city availability. Prior to our move to Tucson we spent a number of years on the east coast and then 25 years in northern California where our sons grew up and where they each currently live with their families. Last year we bought a different house and this marvelous cottage was a part of the property. We put a great deal of time and creativity in designing a warm, welcoming little house for our guests.
