A private gated courtyard entrance leads to a comfortable, quiet home. High vaulted ceilings give an open and spacious feeling throughout the home. Relax in the living room with a gas fireplace and a 42" flat screen TV. There are also sliding glass doors that lead out to the patio and pool area. Enjoy your dinner in a separate dining room. A bright kitchen with lots of windows and another set of patio doors open to the private backyard. Grab a lime or lemon for your drink when they are in season from the trees in the backyard.
A comfortable king bed is located in the large master suite. Another set of sliding doors lead out to a small, private patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee and newspaper. Two large mirrored wardrobes lead to the ensuite with double sinks and a separate large shower. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The third bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a 26" flat screen TV.
The yard is completely gated and private with tall hedges and beautifully landscaped. The cooling pool is not heated but is a perfect place to relax and cool off during the hotter months. Enjoy the gas barbeque and patio furnishings. There are 6 large pools and spas located throughout the complex , tennis courts and a clubhouse with a gym.
Desert Breezes is in a perfect location for convenient shopping, dining and challenging golf courses. It is minutes away from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden and a convenient location for the Coachella Music Festival. There is lots to do if you desire and if relaxation is your goal, this is the house for you.

We rented this property for four months, January-April 2012, and found it very good in all respects. Location was excellent for what we wanted, close to the BNP Barabus Tennis Tournament, shopping and restaurants. Swimming pools are close and guests have use of the tennis facilities. It is very well appointed, clean and the owners are very accomodating.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We enjoyed our month stay at this resort. The property was well maintained and we liked the privacy of the backyard. We enjoyed going for walks around the resort in the mornings, neighbours are very friendly. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was good to work in. The cooling pool is very cold even when the outside temperature was 95F. We liked that there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms and lots of storage/closet space in the master bedroom. The owners were very accommodating to deal with and made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved Palm Desert. We highly recommend visiting the town of Julian and Idyllwild and the Living Desert.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

About the owner: My husband and I grew up on the west coast of British Columbia. We love the mountains and the lakes and rivers. We vacationed in Palm Desert in 2007 and have been many times since. We love the climate and the scenery around this area. We also enjoy the many restaurants and shopping here. A trip to the Joshua Tree National Park was a great highlight for us. Our kids love the fact that it is only 2 1/2 hours to Disneyland and also the San Diego Zoo!
