'Move to Balance' Bed & Breakfast is part of the dream Michel and Karin are creating in Tardona, a total wellness resort in the North Eastern part of Hungary.
Currently the B&B has 5 rooms, some with a double, some with single beds. The B&B can accomodate up to 15 persons. Some rooms are partly furnished with antique furniture. Some have an original wooden ceiling.
All rooms are furnished for 2 persons, but in most additional beds can be added (max. 2 per room at €15 a night per bed incl breakfast). A crib is also available, no extra charge. Most rooms are with private bathroom.
Beautiful gardens have been created with nice intimate places to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There is a swimming pool, meditation room, massage room, fitness room, with lounge and breackfast area. In summertime the ourside pavilion next to the pool is a place peaple can stay for hours. Pheasants, foxes and other wildlife have more than once been spotted on the property. It is a beautiful place for nature lovers, birdwatchers, bikers, people who want to 'get away from it all' or just want to relax.

Michel and Karin were welcoming and helpful hosts, and the property exceeded our expectations. Move to Balance is located in a beautiful rural setting, but comfort is not sacrificed - the quality of accommodations were exceptional. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast loft is a lovely place to begin your day. We would have liked to enjoy the delicious vegetarian meals throughout our stay - the breakfasts and dinner on the first night were a highlight. We would definitely recommend a stay at Move to Balance.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: Long before my husband and I met each other, we both had a dream of having/ creating a beautiful place abroad. Once we were together, it did not take long to take the first step, we bought some property in Hungary. We loved going there and every time we had to go back home (Holland) it became more difficult, because we saw the potential of the place, but we did not have enough time to make it into what we had in mind. In 2008 we took the big step: we gave up our company in Holland, sold house and office and we moved to Hungary, to work on our dream come true.
Why the Owner Chose Tardona:
We chose Hungary because I am half Hungarian, we chose the North East of Hungary and specifically the Bükk national park, because we believe it is one of the most if not the most beautiful area of Hungary. Unspoiled nature, the beautiful barok town Eger, with its rich history, lovely wines and very friendly people made it the perfect place for our countryside resort.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
Our resort is one of a kind in the north east of Hungary and maybe in all of Hungary. You can stay with us just for a vacation: relax at the swimming pool, have a massage or meditation session or do one of the excursions we can organize for you. On the other hand you can come to do a workshop or training for your personal development. It is also possible to hire our place exclusively for a group, which is ideal for trainers and facilitators of personal development.
