  We had a wonderful time staying at Blue Days Beach Cottage. It was a nice home away from home. We loved the closeness of the beach! The upper balcony was a wonderful place to relax, read a book and watch the ocean. We enjoyed our stay and would definately think about coming back again.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  Blue Days is a great place to stay if you want to be out of crowds but walking distance to restaurants, bike rentals, convenience stores, parks, local tavern, seafood market, trolley stop, etc. John's Pass is only 4.5 miles away, an easy bike ride and great place to spend the day. My friends and I had an incredible vacation at Blue Days and the owners are extremely accomodating and easy to contact with any questions about the area or the house. The house is incredibly comfortable and the views are fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. It's a vacation we will never forget and we hope to return to Blue Days in the future.

  We had a wonderful, relaxing time at Blue Days -- all the comforts of home plus a few steps from the Gulf! We particularly enjoyed the upstairs balcony off the master bedroom! The sunsets were magnificent. The furnishings were comfortable. The owner was easy to work with. I would highly reccommend this vacation get-away!!!

  Short walk to quiet beach, spent most of time on porch off master bedroom. Experienced Florida bug issues in downstairs kitchen & LR gap visible under kitchen door to outside. Master bdrm sliding screens fell off track so left open most of time. Upstairs bath average, no electric outlets for dryers-had to use hall outlet. Property partially renovated, managed by local family difficult to address on site issues during daytime. Property in need of basic home maintenance attention.

  Owner response: I encourage all potential renters to read through all reviews available. This particular rental was unfortunately a bad experience for both me and the renter. I've not had one like it prior or since.

  This charming cottage by the beach was a wonderful home away from home for our family. We enjoyed the cozy environment combined with the modern conveniences. The porch off of the peaceful master bedroom was a favorite spot for all of us. The view of the beach is great and it is the perfect place to relax. The very short walk to the beach through the private beach access spoiled us and made it very easy to get to and from the beach. This is a lovely beach getaway!

  I just wanted to say that we get this home every 4th of July week. This house is just wonderful. The pictures on the web-sit don't do it justice. Anything you could possibly want was there. Forget beach towles,sand toys or boogy boards they have it. An absolutely adorable, homey, beachy place. Hard wood floors down stairs, so no worries about tracking sand and messing up a carpet. Close to everything and beautiful view of the Gulf while drinking your coffee upstairs on the balcony . Walking distance to the friendly tarvin 7-11 right across the street if you forget anything. You just cannot go wrong with this efficiency. LOVE the decorations, No musty smells, dirt, or our "famous" Florida bugs....nothing. Just perfect. Thank you to the owners for opening their home to us. We will definitely be back if they will have us.

  This my second year staying here and I couldn't ask for a better place to spend my 4th of July week with all my friends and family. Its clean and the location is great. Easy accees to anywhere ex. shopping of all sorts, attractions, and the beach is wonderful and kept up. And house has everything you need to have good time. Just bring your personel things and your all set. Thanks for everything Jessie

  Have returned to Blue Days Beach Cottage for several years now, even under previous ownership...very comfortable, well appointed. Lovely gulf view from balcony, only a few steps to the white sandy beach and also a few steps to Gulf Blvd where there is public transportation if no vehicle available. Older two story home which has a very pleasing appearance. Great location for children as the street is quiet. Pet friendly.

  Blue Days was so much more than the pictures detailed, our family stayed for 7 days this summer and we can not wait to return next year! The house is literally steps from the beach on a quiet one way street, we spent every morning drinking coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise and every evening on the beach watching the sunset. The private beach access was PERFECT for our kids as it is fenced and very well maintained with covered picnic tables and a shower to rinse the sand from our sun-worn bodies. We would highly recommend the home to anyone looking for a private, quiet, home away from home vacation.
