Tranquil, unspoiled and surrounded by tropical flora and fauna, you can follow pathways through the rain forest where numerous colorful frogs and lizards scurry to avoid your step. Or swim, occasionally with dolphins, over shallow grass covered coral heads before relaxing on the dock.
Indulge your taste buds with seasonal fruit to include coconut, banana, mango, papaya, pineapple, water apple, lemon, orange, grapefruit and lime growing in abundance on the premises. Listen to the gentle tropical rain on the leaves or marvel at the pounding of a tropical downpour. Pluck stars from the brilliant night sky or try to count the number of giant fireflies challenging the brilliance of the stars. Perched on a steep slope, Mono Loco, is forever protected by the living rain forest and the shimmering sea. The history of hundreds of years lives in every corner of this magical land. Built of beautiful local hardwoods, the house is totally self-sufficient, relying on solar power and a water catchment system. On the main level you will find an open living space with full kitchen, dining, living and bedroom area with a queen size bed. A private full bath and closet complete the interior space. Large screened windows allow for unobstructed views of the ocean, jungle and grounds that rival the most spectacular botanical gardens. Wrap-around porches provide additional viewing areas on this level. The screened windows of the lower level provide the same views and offer a queen size bed, private bath and sitting area accessed by a large deck.
