Pelican Sound is just 20 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport, Fort Myers and 20 minutes from lovely, historic Naples. In under 10 minutes you can drive to I-75 or the Miromar Outlet Mall, Coconut Point shopping, as well as near professional sports venues, movie theaters and a wealth of fine restaurants.
As a tenant leasing in Pelican Sound, you become a member of the Pelican Sound Golf and River Club. As a member of the golf club you will have guest privileges to the 27 hole championship golf course and unlimited use of the outstanding practice facilities, including an aqua driving range. Golf professionals are available for group clinics or private instruction. You also have full access to the Pelican Sound Golf Club, which consists of an 18,000 square foot clubhouse which offers a full range of amenities including casual and formal dining, a grill room and bar, a golf pro shop and men's and ladies locker rooms.
A 5,000 square foot River Club is also included with your membership for water-themed fitness and activities, a casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, a lounge bar, fitness center, a 2,400 square foot swimming pool, and a full time activities director. Five additional pools and spas are available throughout the property, with miles of jogging and bicycling routes. Pelican Sound is a part of over 500 acres, offering 27 holes of golf in a bundled golf community. Equity in tee times is offered by using the Chelsea system for requesting tee times. We love the Island Sound pool and spa area and find the location is superb. What a growing community Estero has become!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love the convenience of the terrific restaurants and shopping (Coconut Point, Miromar Outlet and Gulf Coast Town Center) as well as quick access to the Southwest Florida International airport (20 min). The golfing and tennis are superb and having access to the hourly boat shuttle down the Estero River to Lover's Key State Park saves us driving to the beaches.
