Our lovely lakeside cottage is just a short 25 miles from Canton. And, in 2009, you will be one of the first to discover our newly remodeled home. Our family’s vacation home is fully furnished and has 3 large bedrooms, plus a game room, and 2 full bathrooms and can easily accommodate up to 12 guests.

MASTER BEDROOM & BATH HIGHLIGHTS
The master bedroom features a queen size bed with side table & lamp. This bedroom also features a full length dresser. Enjoy views of the lake from the luxury of your bed, or step out onto the back deck through the divided glass French doors (living & master bedroom). The newly remodeled master bathroom is fully furnished with bath towels, wash clothes and an assortment of soaps and shampoos.
GUEST BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The second bedroom features a full size bed and twin bed and the third bedroom has a twin bed and pull out trundle. Both rooms have plenty of dresser space to store personal items and clothes. There is a full size guest bath with towels, wash clothes and an assortment of soaps and shampoos. In addition, there are wall hooks to hang wet swimsuits and towels and a decorative cabinet in the bathroom to store extra personal items.

• Huge multi-level deck to enjoy an evening cookout and views of the lake
• A hammock in the backyard under the trees, just in case you need to relax!
• Big screen TV to watch DVDs (sorry, no satellite TV…remember you’re at the lake!)

• wii gaming system and desk (in case you need to do some work!)
• Additional sleeping accommodations – twin rollaway and queen size air mattress
KITCHEN HIGHLIGHTS
The Fully Furnished Kitchen (should you want to cook) features a side-by-side refrigerator equipped with in door water and ice, dishwasher, self-cleaning oven and a built in microwave. The kitchen also features a coffee maker, toaster, blender, slow cooker, whirly pop popcorn maker and all of the cookware and utensils you will need. The dining table seats 6, plus 2 at the bar. There is also a table and 4 chairs on the back deck, for enjoying the view of the lake with dinner.
LIVING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The living room offers a sofa and two chairs, which makes watching a DVD on the big screen TV priceless family entertainment. The living room has French doors that open out onto the back deck and a great view of the dock and beautiful lake water.
LOCATION
Our home is located a little over an hour’s drive from downtown Dallas in Gun Barrel City. We are very close to town, so shopping and restaurants are an easy 5 – 10 minute drive. In addition, for those of you who enjoy some great flea market finds, we are only 20 - 25 minutes from Canton’s First Monday Trade Days (held on the weekend prior to the first Monday of every month). You can also find a movie theatre nearby and fun park with go-cart rides and laser tag for the young at heart.

All reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. No dates are reserved without a signed rental agreement and security deposit !

Copied from an email sent by a guest who stayed August 28, 2009 for 2 nights. Your lake house is adorable! It was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. It had everything we needed for the weekend. The 4 grandparents that came with us were delightfully surprised too. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us without being on top of each other. The location was fantastic! We boated both days. One of the grandparents is unable to ride on the boat, but was able to sit on the fantastic dock in the shade and watch her grandkids ski, kneeboard, and tube to her delight. We also enjoyed the use of the boat lift. Thank you for making the rental process so easy. I appreciate the extra pictures and the quick communication from beginning to end. We hope to rent again some time and will definitely recommend your place to our friends.
