This townhouse is beautifully decorated in warm southwest hues with clean simplicity. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dinnerware and cookware to enjoy a peaceful meal at this home-away-from home. This townhouse has two full baths with a jetted tub in the master suite. Unique to this unit, we can open a third bathroom which has an oversized walk-in shower, for an additional $5 per night fee.

Why the Owner Chose Moab

Moab is an adventure vacation destination, with 2 National Parks, and a Utah State Park: Arches National Park, and Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park; the Colorado River for rafting and kayaking, Slickrock Bike trail and other mountain biking trails, endless hiking and exploring opportunities, and about any extreme sport you'd dare to try. But what we like best about Moab is its laid-back, small town, friendly atmosphere; its mild climate (excluding the very hot month of July); its endless vistas and awesome scenery from just about any point in the area; and the fact that so many fascinating people have come to visit, or come to stay and make Moab their home.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

For us, the convenience of its proximity to Moab has been most important -- since our home is in Castle Valley, 20 miles away. Staying in our condo, one of the most enjoyable aspects is its location within the development; it is on the southeast boundary of Rim Village with wide open views across the neighbors alfalfa field to the Moab Rim, and East to the view of the La Sal Mountains. It is far from Highway 191 so we don't get the sound of trucks on the highway, as perhaps other locations in Rim Village Vistas do. We have really enjoyed the pool and its hot tub, and have utilized the owner's clubhouse - renting it for the surprise party for Rick's 50th birthday.

We have been residents of Moab, and Castle Valley, Utah, for nearly 30 years. Rick is the owner/broker of Moab Realty, and Martha works both for Rick in the real estate office, and as a reading teacher at the elementary school. We realized what a great property Rim Village was when it was being developed and watched our condo as it was being built - being able to choose the unit with, what we think, is the best location and orientation in the development. We have, ourselves, lived winters in our condo when our daughters were in high school, saving them from having to drive the River Road to Castle Valley for all their activities. So we love the homey feel of our condo, and are certain you will, too!
