"Ridderspoor" is a historical neoclassical masterhouse, quietly located in the oldest part of medieval Bruges, at 4 min. walk from the Market Place and the Burgsquare. The house was converted into its present day form in 1848 and acquired its neoclassical style. It is situated opposite to our house, where we also run a B&B. The 4 spacious quiet, and fully fitted flats were renovated recently and adapted with up-to-date comfort and conveniences: individual central heatings, TV, radios, stereos, CD players, fully equipped kitchens (with microwave, fridge, electric hot plates, coffeemaker, toaster, iron and ironing board, washing machine, tumble dryer...)
-ground floor apartment -sleeping up to 6- includes 2 bedrooms, pleasant living room with dining and sitting area, kitchen, bathroom with shower, private patio.
-2 apartments -each sleeping up to 4- are large, bright spaces (650 s.f. large) on the 1st and 2nd floor, both with dining and sitting area, 1 triple bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower. The studio/apartment on the 2nd floor with view on the famous Belfry Tower.
-The romantic and bright loft apartment (also 650 s.f. large and sleeping up to 4) under the exposed original roof frame on the third floor, with sitting, dining and sleeping area, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bathtub/shower. One of the windows offers a splendid view on Bruges' classic towers.
Very comfortable sleeping facilities in the sitting area of the livingrooms.
Bed, bath, and kitchen linen are provided. The original style and atmosphere of the house have been preserved during the renovation: parquet floor, high ceilings, marble fireplaces, oak staircase, cellar from the 17th century, original wooden roof frame...
Store room for bikes.
Free parking in our street and nearby. Public parkings nearby.

This was one of my highlights in a five week trip through europe. The hosts were very helpful and took a genuine interest in making sure we were comfortable and got our bearings in Brugges. The apartment was very close to the main square and the Belfry. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We also had the use of a small balcony with furniture, you could hear the music from the Belfry there. The owners gave us a tour of their bed and breakfast when we were leaving.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.
