We are located on State Highway 57, 45 minutes north of Milwaukee and its many festivals including Summer Fest; 60 minutes south of Green Bay and the home of the Green Bay Packers; 60 minutes southeast of Oshkosh, site of the Experimental Aviation Association convention; and 15 minutes west of Sheboygan.
Elkhart Lake (20 minutes north of Waldo) features Road America, a national race track. Plymouth (10 minutes north of Waldo) has specialty stores including antiques. It is also the home of the Sheboygan County Fair held on Labor Day weekend each year. This is one of the largest county fair's in Wisconsin. Plymouth also has a summer aquatic center with a skateboard park.
Sheboygan is location on the shores of Lake Michigan and has surfing, charter fishing, and Blue Harbor Water Park. There are 10 golf courses available including world-famous Whistling Straits and Black Wolf Run.
Ten minutes west of Waldo is the northern Kettle Morraine State Forest. Hiking, camping, swimming, horse-back riding, bicycle trails are numerous. A trip through the forest for the fall colors is beautiful. Cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are favorite activities during winter.
About 30 minutes west of Waldo at Kewaskum or north of Waldo at Kiel are downhill skiing facilities. They also have tubing and snowboarding.

Year Purchased: 2008
Peter and I built this home in 2008. To fulfill my dream of operating a bed & breakfast, we decided to rent the home. (The bed without the breakfast). We live in an area that is close to so many activities. Our home is a wonderful place to rest between visits to these areas.
