Our spacious home was completely renovated in 2009, with modern conveniences, little luxuries, and New England charm. Large windows bathe the interior with natural light and provide ocean views from nearly every room. Perfect for entertaining, the main living area features an open floor plan, leading to a large deck. Prepare your fresh lobster dinner in the all new, well equipped kitchen, or enjoy indoor or outdoor dining at one of the many nearby restaurants.
The upstairs features a large, open sitting area that includes a futon and doubles as extra sleeping space. Each bedroom is decorated with comfort and relaxation in mind. The king bedroom includes a futon below its large sunny windows. The queen bedroom features a sitting area and private balcony with spectacular views. Downstairs, the 3rd bedroom has both twin and full beds.
Before you climb into bed, have a long, luxurious soak in the antique reproduction slipper tub, while gazing at the stars. Or enjoy our custom walk-in shower with its unique river stone floor.
When the mood strikes, there is plenty to do! We are 10 min from Port Clyde, with dockside dining, kayaking, and the ferry to Monhegan Island. Beautiful, recently-rebuilt home with water views, in a premier part of the Maine coast.

This is like a new home, with large multi-use spaces filled with natural light, decorated simply with great taste, with wood floors, quality fixtures and comfortable furniture. The kitchen on the first floor is superbly equipped with all new top-of-the-line appliances, which my wife, a great cook, really appreciated. The entire first floor, except for a bedroom and bath, is open space, for living, lounging and dining, all with views of the water. There's a TV/DVD and WiFi, but no phone. Bring a mobile phone. Upstairs is the master bedroom which is huge with a very comfortable king bed, and a second large bedroom with a queen bed. Both bedrooms upstairs have great water views, and are separated by a comfortable sitting/reading area with a sofa and futons. A huge beautiful bathroom serves the two upstairs bedrooms, featuring a claw-footed tub with a hand-held shower head attached, and a large walk-in shower with a pebbled floor. A new washer and dryer are also in the upstairs bathroom. Downstairs is a third, smaller bedroom with a single and double bed, but without water views. Adjacent to this bedroom is a small bathroom with a tub/shower, that also serves the downstairs living areas. Off the living areas is a deck with water views, grill, and table and chairs. We had 6 people in the home for about half of the 2-weeks we rented it, and it was very comfortable with that number. Tim, the owner, is very accommodating and makes sure the place is spotless. We sailed the Maine coast in our own sailboat for about 30 years, and Tenants Harbor was one of our favorite ports of call, visited annually. Now retired, we live next to the ocean at Seabrook Island, SC, south of Charleston. When we decided to revisit Maine, Tenants Harbor was our first choice, and we didn't regret it. Visit Port Clyde, take the ferry to Monhegan, and walk up to the museum. Go to Camden for lunch on the waterfront and drive to the top of the mountain behind the town for a great view of the bay. Visit the Farnsworth Museum in Rockland and see both sections that have Wyeth paintings. And visit the Transportation Museum in Owls Head, far more interesting than you might think. And get your lobsters and Maine crabmeat at the Cod End in Tenants Harbor. Ask for Susan, one of the Miller family who own it, and mention that Snow Dance sent you. It should get a smile from her. Have fun in a great house in a great place!

My wife, two children and I just spent a week at this wondeful house in Tenant's Harbor. The house is beautiful. Everything is new and tastefully decorated. The pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the cooking equipment we needed, and everything was clean and lovely. While there were only four of us, the house could have easily accomdated another 6-8 people. The bedrooms were huge. The location was wonderful--just far enough off the beaten path so you feel like you're the only one around, but close enough to everything so that you don't have to drive far for restaurants, shopping, etc. Next time we can get up to Maine, we would love to stay here again!

We spent two weeks in August at this lovely house. Even with 6 adults and a 2-year-old, we never felt crowded. The kitchen is especially well-equipped with staples, equipment and other supplies that were much appreciated. The views are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are noteworthy. We spent lots of time enjoying several beaches nearby (and a quarry) as well as the attractions and restaurants in Rockland and Port Clyde. Tim is easy to work with. Thumbs up all around!

The house is beautifully redone, comfortable and really has a vacation, instant relaxation feel. The large windows on the back really take advantage of the views, which are better than they appear in the photos. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place !!
