Located in Southwest Florida's 10,000 islands and just 35 miles south of Naples and 25 miles south of Marco Island, Everglades City is a step back in time. The condominium is located in the Everglades City Club Lodge & Villas II complex, a small 2 story building on the edge of the Everglades National Park. Visit the Historic Smallwood Store or take an airboat ride through the back country. Fish from your own private dock or venture out for some of the best fishing Florida has to offer. Dining is limited to a couple of local restaurants but you can take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and cook your days catch.
Our waterfront home offers comfortable accommodations; in home washer/dryer, central air, (no heat space heater only) private dock and pool privileges. There is an aero bed air mattress for additional sleeping if needed.

We bought this unit because of its location. We love great fishing, minus the crowds. After many years of renting a hotel room, we opted for our own place where we could walk out the back door, head to the dock and step on to our boat .

Back for our second visit, we’ve just had another great week at this condo in Everglades City. Since last year it’s had beautiful new floors, new seating and new décor in the bedrooms. The owner is so helpful and nice and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. It’s a great base for the Everglades and we won’t hesitate to come back again if we can.

myself, husband, and grandson went down for a week, we so enjoyed our stay, the condo was clean and very comfortable. we enjoyed the screened lanai every morning for our coffee, and the dolfins that played in the river. would truly reccommend this for rental. above all the owners were a delight.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This really nice little condo is a perfect base if you want to explore the Everglades - especially if you are birders. The photos are very accurate, but don't do justice to the stunning view from the lanai which has sun from sunrise to sunset and looks out over Lake Placid. The owner is really nice to deal with, and the place is extremely clean, quiet, comfortable and very well fitted out - we had everything we needed during our 2 weeks stay. It's a couple of minutes to the National Park (West) HQ, for boat trips in the mangroves or out into the Thousand Islands and the preserves at Big Bend and Fakahatchee and Shark Valley are all easy drives. We hope to be back next year.
