Our apartment in Paris is ideally located in the upscale and wealthy area of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, in the Village d'Auteuil, nearby Roland Garros, the Bois de Boulogne and the river banks of the Seine.
The Village d'Auteuil is a very safe area filled with gourmet shops, bakeries, farmers markets and restaurants, centered around the Eglise d'Auteuil church.
Many well-known people have enjoyed the tranquility of the village: in the 17th Century, Boileau, Molière, Racine and later Turgot, Chateaubriand, Hugo, and the Goncourt brothers. In 1860, the village was joined with Paris and its name was given to a road.
Today, it is at the heart of a rich area which retains many grand villas, properties of wealthy Parisians, away from the crowded tourist paths. You will not find too many tourists here and are guaranteed to experience Paris as a true Parisian yet you will be just minutes away from the major sightseeing.
The apartment is surrounded by several bus lines and metro stations that make it easy and fast to go direct to all major sights in Paris: direct metro to the Trocadero/Eiffel tower, direct metro or direct bus to the Champs Elysees, direct metro to Odeon/St Germain/Latin quarter.
Our apartment is perfect for a couple with two children. It is located on the 5th floor of a spacious building with elevator. It is approximately 540 square feet with wood floors throughout and a large window wall that lets the sun and light come in all day long. Because it is so quiet, you can open the large windows and enjoy a nice breeze on these hot summer days.
The apartment has one bedroom with an oversize queen bed, a newly updated bathroom with a bathtub/shower, a living room with a comfortable sofa bed that sleeps two, a kitchen with a bar area and equipped with dishwasher, microwave, electrical stove, fridge and freezer. Free internet access via Wi-Fi, Free calls to the US and major countries worldwide, Satellite TV.

We are Isabelle and Jerome - middle age French couple who live in the United States. We own several properties in Paris. This one is great for a couple with 2 children. We use it when the two of us come to Paris because it is so convenient and nice.
Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 16
We use this nice apartment when we visit Paris ourselves. We love the fact that it is so close to everything with direct buses and metros to the major touristic areas in Paris - yet is away from the crowded places and remains truly Parisian.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
We love the window wall with the sun shine through and the quietness of the apartment. The metro is at the foot of the building so it makes it very easy and fast to go direct to the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel tower or the Latin quarter. A 5 minutes walk takes you to the Village d'Auteuil, a typical Parisian area where you can find all the French delicassies. The area is very safe and not as busy and overwhelming as other more touristy parts of the city. This is the true Paris.
