This wonderful vacation home is located near the Rio Grande River and Rio Grande National Forest in a quiet, heavily treed location two miles from the center of South Fork. Ideal summer temperatures; 70's and 80's during the day and 50's at night make it a great summer vacation location in addition to being located in paradise for snow/winter activities. The area is home to some of the best fishing, hunting and skiing in Colorado. South Fork is the closest and most convenient town to Wolf Creek Ski Area which is only 18 miles away. The highway to the ski area is kept well plowed and cleared during the winter and does not have slide areas.
The vacation home is very spacious, furnished very nicely and includes 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The great room also has queen size futon. A large dining table seats 8 comfortably. The kitchen has been completely updated and has everything you need. The floors are wood throughout. There is a wood stove, perfect for relaxing in front of after a day on the slopes or snowmobiles. The home also has solar and electric heat, washer and dryer. The home is wheelchair accessible and friendly. The back has a large deck and an 8 foot privacy fence. The property is nestled in a large aspen grove, in a quiet, peaceful location. There are deer everyday of the year. The street is paved and has many aspen and pine trees. Rio Grande River access for tubing, rafting, boat launch and fishing is only two blocks away.

Year Purchased: 2004
I am an avid skier especially loving deep powder... if you like it also I will be happy to give you a mountain tour with fresh powder every run. That's why I live by Wolf Creek. I also love to hike and camp. There is no end to the great trails and gorgeous locations in this part of the state. Have lived in Colorado for 34 years.
