Uniquely designed to resemble the mining era, 195 Toll Road will make you feel like you have stepped into the early days when Telluride was just finding it's name.
Hand crafted stone floors, old reclaimed barn siding, dim tavern lighting and chandeliers made of candles are just some of the features this beautiful home has to offer. Modern appliances and a state-of-the-art kitchen allow for great entertaining. The chef's kitchen includes a wine refridgerator, ice maker, la cornue range, large double sub-zero refridgerator, microwave drawer, trash compacter, and that's just the upstairs kitchen. If you need some extra space the downstairs bar comes equiped with an ice maker, dishwasher, and plenty of counter space to prepare meals. This house comes dialed in with high def flat screens in all bedrooms and music via XM radio. Wireless internet throughout the house so you can take your work with you wherever you go. After your work is done relax in your private hot tub overlooking the San Sophia Ridge Line and Town of Telluride. Shower off in the multihead shower, steam shower or large deep copper tub in the master suite. Don't fret about your multiple loads of laundry, we have two laundry facilities, one located on each level of the house.
The views from this house are better than any other Telluride views we have ever seen. Look down into town from the kitchen window as you prepare your morning cup of coffee. Check out the conditions in Mountain Village if you decide to go skiing. You can also make sure the stream is running fast in Illium if you want to go fishing. Wilson Mesa beckons you to come run on the green meadows. Mount Wilson stares directly at you as you relax after a long day of adventure. This is a spectacular place for your family and friends to stay. With over 7000+ square feet of livable space feel free to invite everyone! 1 king, 2 queens and a set of twins, we also have blow up mattresses and space to accomodate the kids. The loft makes for a great place for the children to set up camp.
The property is located on your first right as you leave the Telluride Airport. The privacy our home offers is unlike any home you will stay in. Each morning you are greeted with elk grazing right outside your door. Town/grocery/entertainment is only a short 10 minute drive. A short 15 minute drive will take you to Mountain Village where you can park your car for free while you hit the slopes all day!

Why the Owner Chose Telluride
We built this home to be completely unique to any other in the area. We wanted to resemble the mining days of early Telluride. Anyone who stays in this home will feel as if they have been a part of Telluride's history.
