This pair of farmhouses is situated in a quiet spot amongst the gently rolling hills of Cortona, only 500 meters from the town center. The houses themselves offer superb views over Valdichiana and the surrounding hills, as far as Lake Trasimeno to the east and Montepulciano to the west. The houses are surrounded by a spacious garden where the sun shines all year, and there is a private swimming pool (8m x 4m). Beyond that are eight hectares of olive groves and woods, perfect for peaceful walks. The owners, farmers and shepherds for four generations, live on the family farm in the Valdichiana, only a few kilometers away, where guests are welcome to taste the farm's products: olive oil, wine, vin santo, pecorino cheese, and more.

Interior description:

Villa 1: Unit of about 100 mq. (350 sq. ft.), all on one floor, can house 4 people. It consists of a large open room, subdivided into a living room with a large fireplace and comfortable couches. The kitchen area, done in a typically Tuscan design, a large dining table, and 3 beautiful balcony door/windows, from which you can enjoy the great panorama. The apartment also has a bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom that has a shower and another bedroom with a double bed and adjoining bathroom with shower.

Villa 2: This house is divided on two levels for a total area of 150 mq. (500 sq. ft.) and can house 6 people. Outside the first floor, going up 15 steps, you will find the romantic patio, furnished with outdoor furniture, and covered with a trellis of perfumed wisteria. From here, you can enter the beautiful Tuscan kitchen. You also have a dining room with a table and fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a tub. An internal wooden staircase with 12 steps, takes you down to the ground floor. Here you find a bedroom with a double bed with an adjoining bathroom(shower) and another bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. Both have a balcony door/window that opens on to the villa’s garden.

Shower, coffee maker, dishwasher, barbeque, toaster, hairdryer, ironing equipment, washing machine, stove, a welcome basket with fruits and vegetables.
