My husband and I wanted to place to get away from it all and just enjoy the view and this was a great place to do it! The pictures matched what was really there (the view is even better in real life!). We were close enough to Blue Ridge that going to town was no big deal. We enjoyed the pool/air hockey table and hot tub immensely. We felt very comfortable in the house and the owner was wonderful to deal with. I would highly recommend this cabin!

Looking for a rental that is everything it is advertised to be and more, this is the place to rent. The views are amazing. We were able to just listen to music and enjoy the mountains. The hot tub was the best part. We were able to enjoy it at night and during the day. It is a must to get up early and watch the sunrise! The cabin was very clean, plenty of games to play. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Couldn't have asked for more!

Great cabin, beautiful view at dawn and dusk. We left something at the cabin and the owner sent it back to us. He wouldn't even accept payment for postage. Had a great time there. I would definitely go back.

We went to this beautiful place right after Christmas with our family and three small kids. They had a wonderful time being in this peaceful place, exploring the wooded area nearby. The view of the majestic mountains is breathtaking... The amenities are wonderful and the beds are comfy. The hot tub was a treat! I highly recommend this place!

Youth girls bible retreat

I brought my youth girls bible study group up here for an over night stay this past weekend. We had an amazing time. Wish we could have stayed longer. Getting up for the sunrise is a MUST. The view is panoramic; there are just no words to describe it. You have to experience it for yourself. The cabin is very well maintained and the owner is very helpful in giving you ideas for things to do in the local area. I felt like I was visiting someone’s home , not just a rental property. The Mercer Apple Orchard is just a bit down the road and lovely to drop in on. I brought back half a bushel of their Fuji's ... YUMMY.

The cabin was absolutely wonderful!! So warm and inviting. The view from the front porch of the mountains was breathtaking. We enjoyed our weekend immensely. Everything was so clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the hot tub especially after a day of shopping in downtown Blue Ridge which is only minutes away. I am planning on coming back in December for the Santa train with our grandsons. Thanks so much.

The Perfect Family Vacation!

My adult children and I just stayed for a week at Blackberry Knoll at the end of August and we absolutely loved It! The cabin was beautiful and very clean with more amenities than we expected. It looked exactly like the pictures show and was very spacious and comfortable. The view of the mountains was spectacular! The cabin is up on a hill and you can see mountains from almost every angle. There's nothing like sitting on a huge cabin porch in rocking chairs, gazing at the mountains and smelling the fresh air. It was one of the most relaxing and peaceful places we have ever been. I am typically not a morning person, but made a point to get up to watch the breathtaking sunrises over the mountains. We also enjoyed winding down for the night out on the deck in the hot tub, while gazing at the stars. The sauna was a nice bonus, but we realized that we had so many fun things to do that we hardly even touched the pool table! We originally were going to stay near Gatlinburg, Tennessee because we thought there would be more things to do, but took a chance going to Blue Ridge, Georgia instead because we liked the look and location of this cabin and we couldn't have made a better choice! We explored the small towns and quaint shops, did some hiking around the cabin, took a drive to Chattanooga to walk around, took a lot of scenic tours and also went to a state park and hiked some waterfalls. On the way to one of the falls, we even spotted a baby black bear, which was one of the most exciting experiences in our lives! We also were fortunate enough to have a night bobcat run across the road in front of us one evening near the cabin. Of course, we also just hung out at the cabin a lot, because it was so enjoyable to be there. The Blue Ridge area in general is very beautiful and there's things for all ages to enjoy. My kids really enjoyed Mercier's Orchard store and restaurant down the road and it also came in handy when they needed wi-fi. We were pleasantly surprised that we had perfect cell phone reception at the cabin! I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone. It by far exceeded our expectations and was one of the most enjoyable and memorable vacations we have ever had. The only downside, was that the week went by too fast and we had to leave!! We hope to go back in the future.

The greatest place to stay!!! Sunrise from the front deck. Mountains everywhere and the sweet sound of peace all around. Our family had such an incredible time! So much to do and even if you need to drive a little ways it is worth it! Our 3 yr old loved it so much she was sad we had to leave. 100% recommend staying here!!!! We look forward to returning, next time will be around the fall season to see the leaves change color!

My husband and I needed a vacation and planned it at the absolute last minute. Chris was so helpful and QUICK with responses to my questions. The pictures on the internet were good, but not totally accurate! This place is EVEN BETTER than the pictures show and more than I expected! It was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way! We never thought, "if we only had ____" because absolutely everything you could want or need is here! The views are outstanding and the cabin is top notch. We both agree that we will come back! Great Cabin

My family and I wanted to find a place to go to get out of all the business of life, we found it when we came here. I loved the wrap around porch, large bedrooms, living room with a very comfortable couch, and a large kitchen. When we came it was cold, so we loved the hot tub out on the porch. And if you own a telescope bring it, the stars are amazing at night. We will be back again soon.

My husband & I stayed at Blackberry Knoll for our anniversary & fell in love with the place! The cabin can easily sleep 8-10 people! We really enjoyed the hot tub & huge whirlpool tub in the master bath. The master bed is so incredibly comfy that you just may linger a bit longer than usual! The entire cabin was well stocked, so just bring your toiletries. Sit on the porch or in the living room & enjoy the stunning mountain views! There's a Food Lion grocery store within 10 minutes & a Walmart within 20. Don't forget to stop by Mercier Orchards (just a few minutes from the cabin) where you'll have the BEST apple cider and homemade fried pies! A trip into Blue Ridge to ride the train is a real treat, and a short hour scenic trip through the mountains will take you to Helen, GA. Oh, and don't dare miss Cucina Rustica (an Italian restaurant about 15 minutes away) where you'll enjoy a casual, cozy atmosphere of genuine Italian food at an average price! Make reservations! We're already planning our next trip to Blackberry Knoll & highly recommend the place! You WON'T regret it!

I've never stayed at a cabin before and decided to do something different for my birthday this year. I got my closest family together and we all headed to the cabin. We were all taken away by the beautiful view and by the cozy/roomy cabin. The owners have taken time to ensure that the renters have everything they would need during their stay. There were also lots of games and activities to keep us occupied. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be recommending this cabin to all of our friends. There's just nothing like waking up to the beautiful view of the mountains and smelling the fresh and crisp air! Do yourself a favor and take a vacation to this cabin, you will not be disappointed :)

Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!! This cabin is perfect for that quiet peaceful getaway. Every detail of the cabin exceeded my expectations. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The beds were very cozy and every thing was spotless. We loved the wrap around porch that is fully furnished with rocking chairs, picnic table, grill, and best of all a Jacuzzi! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch rocking chairs with our coffee and watching the sun rise over the mountains. Location is very close to town, yet far enough out for privacy. Took my in-laws (who never go anywhere) and they couldn't believe how beautiful and comfortable it was. We will definitely go back. Great for the family or just a couple's retreat. A must see! Returning soon for a reunion time with my sisters. Can't wait!

We really enjoyed our time at this cabin. It is conveniently located to multiple waterfalls and other attractions. The cabin was very comfortable. The view was just beautiful. The location was private but close enough to downtown Blue Ridge that we were able to go to town to shop and sightsee. The owner was very responsive to questions and problems and available, when needed. We would definitely return!

Mountains of Blue Ridge in the fall...you expect nature's beauty and Blackberry Knoll delivers in the biggest way. The description is spot on...breath taking indeed, and unobstructed for as far as you can see. Set your clock and watch the sunrise over those mountains. It will be worth it, I promise. We were here in early October, the colors were not yet at their peak and still the view was fabulous. You feel like you are the only ones on this mountain enjoying the splendor God created just for you. The cabin is clean, well apppointed, and delightfully decorated; but you know what they say, location, location, location. This magnificent cabin has it all. It was a birthday weekend getaway for her but UGA football and Braves baseball playoffs were scheduled. We were able to visit the Apple Festival in Ellijay, stroll through the quaint and historic downtowns of McCaysville and Blue Ridge AND we got excellent cable reception so hubby did not miss any sports action. It was the best of both worlds (his and hers). We rocked and read and ejoyed the view on the great wrap around porch. Relaxed in the hot tub, then rocked and admired the view some more. You almost don't want to go inside, the porch and views are so incredible; but, the cabin is lovely too. Everything you need is there, inside and outside, it's all clean and well maintained. The owner was extremely helpful, we had to change our dates at the last minute and he was very accommodating. Can't say enough positive things about our trip. We will definitely be back to spend some time at Blackberry Knoll!!

We stayed at Blackberry Knoll for 3 nights in the heat of August and not once did we notice the weather. The cabin's view is simply awesome and you can watch storms far away in the distance over the smoky blue ridges and see hawks circling down below. Such comfortable furniture and bedding, you'll swear you're at the Four Seasons. A particular joy was the hot tub on the deck in a private little nook, with the temp. set at 92 degrees, which was perfect for a late-night dip before bedtime to help you relax. We were just amazed at the quality of the furnishings all over the cabin, and nothing here was done cheaply. I could have lain on the big comfy couch and looked at the beautiful wood ceiling for hours- everything was first rate. We will definitely be back! John and Linda A., Marietta, GA

We loved this place! The description, view and amenities all were dead on. The host was great to work with us on short notice. We had a wonderful much needed relaxing weekend. We only left the cabin once to take the blue ridge train ride. It was a fun trip. The cabin is close to everything and very clean and well maintained. There are neighbors but the cabin is secluded. The hot tub was awesome and clean as well. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends without hesitation. I would definitely stay at this property anytime. The view is a real treat.We enjoyed watching the storm come in and the long range mountain views.. Merciers was also a great place to visit.

Piece of Heaven in the Mountains

This place was awesome and well above what we expected! There was nothing that we lacked while we enjoyed our stay in the cabin-peace and quiet, fresh air, extremely friendly neighbors and towns people as well as the owners! The game room came in very handy on a day that it rained and the whole cabin was extremely warm and inviting! The location is also a plus- didnt have to drive very far to get groceries, gas or go out on an adventure! This is a "home away from home" atmosphere and we all cant wait to do it again and hopefully stay a little longer next time! Anyone else who stays here will DEFINITELY enjoy themselves and we look forward already to next years vacation in Blackberry Knoll- Thanks again for sharing your home with us!

To start off, this cabin is so convenient to all amenities in Blue Ridge or Mccaysville, however far enough to be tranquil. Driving up to the cabin the views are amazing and the cabin is gorgeous inside and out. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and just sitting by the fire. What a great time just sitting on the wrap around porch and taking in the views. Our children loved exploring the woods, back roads and the X Box in their bedroom. The amenities in the cabin where comfortable and met all of our needs, even the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. We can't wait to come back to Blackberry Knoll and we hope it will be sooner than later. Another note: The transaction could not have been any easier and Chris is an amazing host. Thank you for the Family vacation that we needed!

The view from this property is truly breath taking and mesmerizing. It fully displays the wonders of God's beautiful creation. This cabin is perfect for a family. The comforts of home without the disruptions of a busy liestyle. Extremely clean, well maintained, and thoroughly furnished. I highly recommend this property to everyone. The location is also fairly close to some other conveinences such as historical attractions, fishing, restaurants, etc. However...it is not located too close to these things and you experience the feeling of seclusion for a wonderful time of relaxation. Oh...and the large hot tub will help with that as well!

Blackberry Knoll is a place of Beauty. Spent the night there with some fantastic friends. The view is 360 degrees over looking the Horizon snuggled in the BlueRidge mountains. Want a get away, I recommend this awesome place. Peaceful & Totally Magnificent!!

I stayed with my wife over Labor Day 2009. The sunrise is as beautiful as the picture you see here as it was taken from the porch. The house had all the comforts of being at home. Relaxing on the porch with some good music(I recommend Southern Gospel) and looking over the spacious mountains is truly amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay, The cabin Had everything we needed, All we had to bring was clothes and food. Very clean, There is a wonderful view of the mountains. Very quiet and peaceful, My grandchildren loved it. Lots of entertainment, T. V. pool table, Games. And did I mention the hot tub. It was great, very relaxing.
