  We really enjoyed our stay! Getting in and quickly settled was made possible with Cheryl's easy to follow directions. The amenities provided all that we required to make our vacation quite pleasant. The grocery stores in La'ie had everything we needed as we typically had our breakfast and evening meals at the condo. Being right on the beach for evening walks, swimming in the afternoon, and watching the sunrise (from our lanai) was lovely. The location was perfect for our needs as we enjoy being somewhat off the beaten path but still close enough to Honolulu for all it has to offer. We actually went around the whole island and through the middle as well, to take in the variety of sights of Oahu. Be sure check out the "Oahu Revealed" book and binder of information that Cheryl has provided. This was invaluable to us in deciding where to go and how to get there! We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the near future.

  We stayed 5 five nights in November 2012 and loved every minute we were there. The condo was the perfect vacation place for us...right on the beach, beautiful view and all we would need to make our stay perfect! The kitchen is fully equipt and very nice! We loved being able to eat breakfast there, as we'll as having a fridge to keep some snacks and sandwich fixings. The first night we slept in the alcove, but moved to the living area and moved the twin sofas to make a nice bed with a beautiful view in the morning. We left the sliding door open and loved the sound of the surf and occasional rain in the night. The bedding was great...very nice sheets and comfy pillows, with extra blankets, if needed. The washer and dryer were such a bonus! Loved that we didn't have to go home with a suitcase of dirty clothes! The bathroom was roomy with nice towels, a hair dryer, as well as soap, shampoo and body wash in the shower. There were also two beach chairs, beach towels and a beach bag with masks and snorkels available. We loved being able to grab a chair and head to the beach early in the morning to sit and enjoy the sunrise. Cheryl, the owner, was the best! So quick to answer my emails and gave just the info we needed to make our stay so enjoyable. (she also has the nicest family...we were able to meet them when they came by with some really nice, new chairs for the lanai right when we arrived!) The security man was very helpful to us when we arrived, showing us where to park and where the lock box was located. We will return again this summer and stay here, again. It's a great place to stay!

Has everything you need for your beachy vacation and good location for all areas. Being right on the ocean was amazing, saw many turtles from the balcony. Beach is perfect for swimming as well.   This is a solid place to stay for a short trip. No frills, but very clean and what a view! You won't find a place to stay on the North Shore for a better value. Beware that the noise from the road on the bedroom side of the Condo is a nuisence. If this unit had air conditioning it would not be an issue, however, because it does not, windows must be kept open for cross breezes, we slept in the livingroom with the patio door open to enjoy the ocean! The kitchen is well equipt, unless you are a coffee drinker, coffee pot is only a four cup and not a great one. I would suggest to the owners that a few simple and inexpensive updates would make this a more accomidating place to stay for many weeks: A ceiling fan in the main area, an updated TV and better furniture on the lanai. All in all, we would stay again!

  Other than being clean and having everything you will need for your stay, there were a few qualities of this rental that surpassed my expectations. First, the property has a friendly security crew that helped me find the lockbox. Second, the key has a security fob on it so you can't get in the building without it. Third, this property is the perfect location because it is close to the North Shore, its close the Polynesian Cultural Center, its right on the beach, close to parks, and a short drive to a city with everything you'd want to do. There is a binder in the unit that is a guide to the area as well as a very useful book. This is a studio, but it can definitely accomodate up to four people. Finally, the price was more than right and because we went during the off season it was even cheaper than advertised. If I am fortunate enough to come back to Hawaii, I will be contacing Cheryl first. I would HIGHLY recommend this unit!

  Pat's at Panaluu was just as described/pictured. All items to make breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Extra items such as snorkleing gear, beach towels & chairs made our packing lighter. Can't wait to come back again. My 5 year old son keeps asking " When are we going back to Hawaii?" and my 13 year old daughter says she loved Pat's much more than staying in fancy Waikiki hotel!

  Cheryl is amazing! She was so helpful when making our reservations. I had been coordinating travel plans for 3 families and she was so helpful in trying to help me find alternatives for even the families that weren't staying at this location. Lovely place. The security guards are ever present and were pretty helpful the first night as we tried to figure out how to find our room. You also need a fob to access the stairs or elevator so that makes it feel even safer. Cheryl gave wonderful directions, it was my own technical difficulties. The complex is literally on the beach. It was great for morning walk/run(s) and the kids liked it too, not too hard to swim around or rocky. It's an amazing blue, which you can see upon waking and going out onto the lanai. Not super wavy, but could pick up at times. Cheryl was great, called her twice during our stay and she was very helpful. The queen bed has the window facing the street, and the living room has 2 couches that can become a bed. I liked this area best cause I kept the window open so I could hear the ocean. Comes equipped with plates and silverware, a coffee maker, a rice maker, a blender, etc. All we really needed to buy was food. There was also provided condiments, towels, garbage bags and laundry detergent. That was really nice. 2 fans are provided, but if you open the bedroom window and the lanai door we got a decent breeze. There's also a book in the room with info on places to go all over Oahu. All the big stores are at least 30 minutes away, but it's kind of nice cause you get a really laid back feel without a ton of tourists everywhere. You can really relax. There's a shower and hose out near the pool area to hose down anything that's sandy, but inevitably some sand might get into the place, but never fear a broom, dustpan, and even a vacuum cleaner are provided! There's free wi-fi which was so helpful to keep in touch. All the info about the room and rules of the complex is located in highly visible locations and many things are labelled. Overall a wonderful experience and I would recommend and rent again. The only thing I might mention is that places on this island run small, so if you're used to a lot of floor plan you might want to book a place that lists for more people than are in your party. It was completely fine for us, but figured some people might not know that.

  We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It has great view, we really enjoyed the sunrise from the balcony every morning. The place is clean and well maintained, has plenty of cookwares that we used everyday. The beach towels and snorkel goggles came in handy. It is 5 minutes away from the Polynesian Culture Center, so we appreciated the short drive at night after the show. The window facing the street is a bit noisy, so it might not work well for light sleepers. We were okay with it though, you can't beat the price. Cheryl was very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend this place to my friends and families.

  My husband, myself, and two children (ages 5 and 2) stayed at this condo for three nights. We pass through Hawaii often as we live overseas and must fly through Hawaii when we go back to the states. We normally stay in hotels while there but found the condo so much more comfortable. We will try and stay here the next time we pass through.

  This was our first attempt using Homeaway and staying in a condo versus staying in a hotel. I must say that this vacation rental exceeded my expectations in almost every way and we will probably never stay in a hotel again. We have two young children and having a kitchen made a big differences. There are lots of thoughtful touches here too. I especially liked the Ipod dock for my phone and for music. The view is A+. Cheryl was great to work with and there were never any hassles. The rental was very clean. Other than it being almost absolutely perfect (location, quietness, seclusion, amenities, safety, view, friendly people in the complex,etc), I only have two small complaints. The beds (that double as couches) are a little hard - but when you pull listen to the ocean all night and feel the cool breezes you soon forget about that. The other is that there is some smell out in the front - nothing that really matters as the breeze constantly comes in from the ocean. One suggestion I might make is to put a chaise (spelling?) lounge on the lanai so next time I stay I can sleep out there! This was the best vacation I ever had and I have had a lot of them! My family and I loved every minute we were there. Staying here makes me regret staying anywhere else on Oahu over the years! We will be back!
