Very “groovy” Mid-Century Modern in Panorama Ranch area of Palm Desert. Walking distance to shopping and dining on upscale El Paseo!
This open floor plan two bedroom, two bathroom home was remodeled from top to bottom in 2009, including a designer kitchen, two new bathrooms, and very private saltwater pool with attached spa. The pool also features a waterfall and in-pool “Baja” deck for relaxation.
The focal point of the open beam Living room is the original block fireplace - although we have included all of the modern amenities: 42” flat screen LCD TV with iPod dock, HDTV Digital Video Recorder, and Sony PlayStation 2/DVD player. The vintage dining set seats six comfortably and can be expanded to seat eight. The new, fully stocked kitchen, features solid surface counters, stainless steel Frigidaire Gallery appliances, and Bosch dishwasher. This entire area opens on to the pool deck.
The master bedroom features a California King bed, 32” flat screen LCD TV, clock radio with iPod dock, and en-suite full bath. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed and clock radio with iPod dock. Both bedrooms feature "retro style" lighted ceiling fans for your comfort. The second full bath includes a washer and dryer and direct access to the pool area.
The outdoor space provides plenty of privacy with a large front courtyard and two level pool deck in the rear. Around the pool there is a dining area for six and three separate lounge and seating areas with adjustable shade options.
This home is an ideal oasis for two couples or a small family.

This is an excellent property for a couple or a group of four. The pictures are true to form! The property is very well maintained, nicely furnished, is in an excellent location (walking distance to El Paseo), and has a lovely pool and spa. Being close to El Paseo is a must if you are staying in Palm Desert. Great shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops are all only a 15 minute walk away! It has all the amenities and comforts of home and the owners are terrific to deal with. We will most certainly rent this property again.

We stayed at this property this past April for Coachella, and it was fantastic! The pool and outdoor area is really well done and visually appealing, as is the inside of the house. Great decor, clean, everything you need is provided, and Greig was great to deal with. We would definitely stay there again next year if we didnt have a larger group to accomodate. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were looking for a place to escape to while our house was undergoing a bathroom remodel. For the about the same price of staying in a hotel, we stumbled upon this awesome Palm Desert retreat. The owners were very easy to work with and did a great job of making the property "user friendly" and stress free. The house and pool exceeded our expectations; it was so quiet and private! (If you are looking for a rental in Palm Springs in the middle of all the action, this probably is not the place for you.) We really appreciated the owner's attention to detail in the design and furnishings which give the home a real MidCentry Modern feel. We will definitely stay here again and have recommended the house to a few friends.

We recently returned after staying a month at Greig and Amy's Mid Century Modern Getaway in Palm Desert, just a short few blocks to El Paseo, and a little drive to College Of The Desert, The Living Desert, shops, many dining options, Best of all just a liesurely outing to Palm Springs with its Thursday Evening Street Fair, fine dining and all the Palm Springs area has to offer. The home was tastfully decorated and comfortable, with everything you could ask for to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. The pool and spa in a two level designed backyard was our oasis, and we soaked up the sun before our trip home to the reality of Winter in Canada! We would recommend this spot for Families, two couples or just a romantic hide away for just the two of you, if you truly want a vacation to remember! Thanks to our gracious hosts for being there to answer questions and concerns immediately when needed. Thanks for sharing your Private Escape with us! We hope to be back! We just returned home after five nights at this great house. We have rented a lot of houses in a number of different places and this was the best. It is modern and in great taste and is generously equipped and decorated with fun/hi quality appliances, furnishings, towels, dishes, sheets and quilts, tvs, bikes, washer-dryer, computer, fireplace with duraflame logs, plus it has a heated beautiful swimming pool WITH pool toys. From little things like the brightly colored good towels to the big things like the warm swimming pool and jacuzzi, the house made a great home for us as visitors. Plus dog friendly! The owners also put together a well organized and easy to follow house guide which was very helpful! We appreciated the owners' hospitality (even though they weren't there).

Just returned to cold and rainy Seattle after a five day visit to this wonderful home! You can not get any better than this house for a visit to Palm Springs (Palm Desert). This is the best place we've ever stayed in the desert (been over 20 times). The house has everything you'd need, and every detail you need is provided in a easy and accessible way. The location is walking distance to El Paseo and right in the middle of the desert area making trips to Palm Springs on one end, and La Quinta on the other end very quick and easy along highway 111. I would recommend making your reservations right away because once the word is out on this property it's going to be hard to find any available weeks during the high season!
