This brand new Base Village Condo was completed in fall of 2008 and now available for select rentals. The unit is a top floor, penthouse with beautiful views of the Elk Camp Gondola and Hanging Valley Wall. The unit is located exactly in the center of the action with the ski school and rental shop just 50 yards from the front door. The Gondola to the beginners area is just outside the door also. Another 100 yards puts you in front of the new Children's Center and the Village Express 6 person lift to the top of Sam's Knob. The new base village contains great restaurants and bars all with a few yards of this unit. Parking for the unit is provided below in a heated garage with an elevator into our hallway. There are 2 ski lockers on the village level with locking doors for ease of storage.
The unit itself occupies the top quarter of the building with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths providing approximately 1700 sq/ft of living area not including the two large balconies. The third bedroom is a lock-off so that it can be treated as a complete second unit with kitchenette, fridge and microwave. The main unit has large master bedroom with amazing views of the mountain through the vaulted glass wall. It also enjoys a large master bath with shower and large tub. The second bedroom has queen size bed, TV/DVR and closet. A washer and dryer is located in the hallway for after ski laundry. The living room has a fantastic view of the mountain and the base village common area. All of the activity can be seen from the room without being too close as to be affected by noise. The gas fireplace is quickly lit and provides a warm glow to this magical room. The kitchen overlooks the living room with granite counters, stainless steel appliances and all amenities. All of the necessary kitchen ware is provided and of the highest quality.
This condo represents the finest that the new base village has to offer. The location is the most desirable in the new base development, the access to the lifts and shops is second to none and the views are amazing. We are proud to offer our unit to discriminating people. Why the Owner Chose Snowmass Village
The decision to buy in Snowmass was based upon the quality of the real estate, the superior location of the unit and the mountain itself. The consensus among people that have skied all over Colorado is that Snowmass is the best and most diverse mountain. This is the place to be for families, especially with the brand new children's center. You also have access to Aspen, Aspen Highland and Buttermilk on the same ticket. We came to Snowmass for the first time in February of 2008 and have been coming ever since.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The most significant benefit is being right in the middle of everything that happens on this mountain. You can literally walk out the front door and get Sushi, ice cream, fondue chocolate s'mores, Nightclubs, taverns, etc.... I could go on and on. If you like fine dining, Aspen has an incredible collection of the finest restaurants in the country. Transportation is extremely easy using the RFTA buses that run from Snowmass to all of the resorts, ski hills and into downtown Aspen.
