Walking distance to a Cubs game, dozens of restaurants, and shopping from local boutiques to the familiar national stores. Two blocks from the El. A short cab or train ride to Michigan Avenue, the great museums, or the famous free Lincoln Park Zoo.

A place to hang out and party all day and night
A place to sit around and do all of the thing that you wouldn't be doing if you were not in the greatest city in the world
A place to cook all of your meals and not enjoy the great restaurants
A place to smoke
Don't want to make it sound like this is not a great place because it is. Just want to stress that we have intentionally furnished this to amenities similar to that of a hotel suite and less of a house. It feature- no kitchen, no giant DVD collection etc. All of the amenities and more are outside your front door. It is designed to maximize the space for sleeping with an emphasis on being NEW, clean and ALL of the amenities that you could ever want are minutes away.
Things we do and you might too:
Grab something healthy from WholeFoods next door.
Have Breakfast at Ann Sathers don't miss the cinnamon rolls
Work out at the YMCA a two minute walk away. With day/week and month passes you can exercise, swim, do yoga etc for next to nothing.
Walk to Starbucks or Caribou Coffee and grab a Tribune or Sun-Times in the morning.
Have drinks on Lincoln Ave one block behind the house.
Take the train to Gibson's for a steak and hang out on State and Rush 20 minutes or less to get there.
Go down to the lakefront and play beach volleyball take a dip in Lake Michigan.
Obviously Walk to the Cubs Game- we have tickets if you are "striking out".
Take the kids to The Lincoln Park Zoo- largest free zoo in the USA. Walk through the garden in the park on your way out
Shops on Southport two blocks from the house.
Eat at Potbelly's for lunch on Southport
Have drinks and go bowling at Southport lanes. Old fashioned bowling- no ball returns, guys actually stack the pins for you. You can tip them by stuffing a buck in ball hole and watch your strike ratio go up!
Go to a summer street festival. Some of the best ones are one Lincoln, Belmont and other near by places
Grab a Chicago Reader on Thursdays to see what's going on in the city
Take the kids to the splash park around the corner
Sit on the patio at Justin's on Southport and Roscoe
Check out a movie at the Movie Box on Southport- go to Dairy Queen after, maybe before too!
Walk to Fresco's for hand tossed Pizza and beer's on Linclon
Take the train to the Museum District
Take a train to Michigan Ave
