The Glencove lakehouse is located on a channel just off the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ. It's an ideal NO WAKE location for any lake getaway. Both boats and PWC's can use the dock and there's easy access to the main lake without the noise and traffic.
Our lush lawn, provided washer games and now famous tree ring game provide hours of entertainment along with darts and a foosball table. We also have a Wii game console with many games and Wii accessories as well as connections for other game consoles. This is both an adult and kid friendly property. The private hot tub is the perfect way to relax at the end of an active day on the lake and did we mention the Margaritaville Margarita machine!!!!
The living room is complete with a full entertainment and media center with flat screen and surround sound. Listen to music from your iPod, iPhone or CD's while BBQing on the top deck. All bedrooms are well equipped with hotel quality linens. We have personally been in other lake house rentals that are slapped together with garage sale quality appointments. If you're looking for one of those this definitely isn't the property for you. We take great pride in our property and our maintenance.

I had been looking forward to my relaxing getaway on Lake LBJ for quite some time. I couldn’t wait to arrive at the house and take in the peacefulness of the no-wake cove.
I was in awe of the lush lawn and massive oak trees outside the house. The grass felt so good on my paws! The views from the upper and lower level decks were enough to wash all your stress away. (And believe me, it’s tough being such a busy bear.)
When we weren’t lazing on the lounge chairs, I enjoyed getting my fur wet in the hot tub or taking a dip in the cove. The owners even have kayaks available for rent for their guests! They also put me touch with Splash Rentals so my traveling companions and I were able to go out on the pontoon for the day.
This lake house is the perfect setup for a family getaway. With a queen bed, king bed, and multiple bunk beds, this house can sleep an entire sleuth of bears! Believe me, this house provides much more than the 'bear' necessities. Whether you’re looking for a vacation with the cubs or a relaxing getaway among friends, the location and amenities provided are perfect for all ages.

Why the Owner Chose Kingsland
This particular property was a diamond in the rough and took almost 2 years to bring to it's full potential. It's unique due to the fact that the living & dining areas are on the top floor looking down to the yard. As seasoned boaters we really appreciated the location which while minutes from "all the fun" on the Colorado Arm and the main lake our boat was safe and easy to access being in a "NO WAKE" zone.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We have a wonderful time taking our boat out the channel into open water. One of the biggest benefits to our location on a cove is that it's close to beautiful open water but without all the noise and especially the wakes from other boats. We can return to our dock and enjoy the beautiful yard and decks without worry about our boat being damaged by other boat traffic.

This was our second visit to The No Wake Lake House - and it was just a wonderful as the first time! The house is spotless and beautifully appointed in a casual, fun and elegant "Texas" style. The sloping lawn, decks and hot tub are immaculate. There are 2 grills - one each deck - charcoal downstairs and gas upstairs - talk about service! We highly reccomend this as your Texas Hill Country lake getaway destination - it is our #1 pick! K and L

The house, overall property and lake very absolutely beautiful. We were very pleased with the fully furnished top of the line house. It was as if we were staying in a resort. There is nothing better than hanging out with a bunch of friends lake side. We stayed with a group of 8 and had plenty of room. The upstairs and downstairs deck has amazing views and the private boat dock was icing on the cake. I am hoping to make this an annual trip. Thank you very much.

My girlfriends and I vacationed here for our annual getaway and we all had the best time. The house itself is beautiful and has some great amenities, like the iPod hookup with outdoor speakers. We loved having our meals outside on the patios. We loved the tree string game, which we dubbed "Ring on a String". It was great! The canal is very calm and perfect for relaxing in the water which was muddy, but not mossy. We would have loved a ladder to get out of the water though! A few things to consider depending on the type of vacation you're looking for: The area has a very quaint local vibe, so no nights out on the town barhopping or clubbing, which was perfect for us since we just wanted to hang with each other. If you want lake front sights watching skiers or boats go by, this isn't it. I would not call these cons by any means; just trying to be informative! We had a great time and were very satisfied with the house and the owners.

Most will enjoy this lake house. It's clean, spacious for 9 and ideally located for access to a great lake. Our favorite feature was the back area with fantastic shade trees right on the water. Ask about the ring game!

We did have a great time Del. The grandkids caught fish, although they were all perch, and did not want to leave. We all thought the ring-on-the-hook game was an impossibility; but then one of our grandsons got it about three times in just a few trys. Finally, we all got the hang of it. > > We had fun on the jet ski, although it seems most of the time spent on it was in getting in and out of the cove at no-wake speed. The kayaks are a great addition to a fun filled weekend. > > Also, just wanted to say your lake home and lawn is as beautiful as your site says it is. It is obvious you have spent a lot of time and effort on it. And, once again, thanks for making things work out for us after I had messed up on the dates. We had a fantastic family weekend.

I just got home from a wonderful weekend getaway at this Lake LBJ home. From the beautiful lawn to the fabulous location, I couldn't have asked for more for this girls weekend getaway. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, lounging on the upper and lower level desks, or just sitting around the large dining table in the open kitchen. No need to fight over rooms - everyone had plenty of space and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. We were also pleasantly surprised to find televisions in at least 2 of the 4 bedrooms. Beds were very soft and the house was extremely comfortable overall. The homeowner has taken great care in providing amenities like a margarita machine, surround sound, and even kayaks. He also put us in touch with Splash Rentals, so we were able to enjoy the water from a pontoon boat. It was so tough to leave on such a beautiful day!

Our two families really enjoyed this lake get away. Del was very responsive to all of our questions through e-mail and telephone. We were met by DeLayne upon arrival and she did a thorough job of showing us every detail of the home and made sure we understood how to operate everything and where everything was located. The house was in a perfect location, in a very quiet cove off the main part of the lake. We utilized the kayaks and paddleboat one day which the teenagers enjoyed while the adults started happy hour in the hot tub every afternoon. The house was a perfect fit for the 7 of us. The beds were very comfortable. We were not big fans of the spiral stair case inside and I know I personally found it better to use the outside stairs if I wanted to reach the bottom level. The big kitchen and large dining table was a perfect fit our families. The living room was a bit on the small side for movies at night but we made it work. The decks and the backyard would be what would have us return. Playing "washers" with the kids was one of my favorites. Never did make the ring on the hook, not to say that I did not try. One thing that stands out with the type of service provided by Del. We noticed the air not working that well on our second morning and I placed a call to Del and said that we could make it without since the highs were in the lo 80's in March. Within an hour, we had a repairman at the house to work on the air conditioner. We have stayed at other properties with similar air conditioning problems in August and we never saw a repairman in our entire week stay. Later that day Del called back to make sure everything was working properly. That is what customer service is all about. Thanks for sharing your house with us for a few days.

Our recent stay at your lake house was as perfect as we could have expected. You have really anticipated what guests will enjoy at a vacation property. We have stayed on LBJ several times and by far your house is our favorite. Our son had a blast on the Seadoo and the evenings spent in hot tub were the ideal ending to our days packed with activities. The well equipped kitchen and margarita machine were well used. Thanks to everyone for making our trip to the lake such a success. Hope to see you next year.
