Our beautifully furnished condo is located on the beach in the new La Paz resort community of Paraiso del Mar. The condo has a full kitchen, living and dining areas, laundry room, large master suites with walk in showers, and a huge balcony overlooking the 50 meter infinity pool and beach Our unit rents as either a two bedroom condo with king sized beds in each master suite or as a three bedroom condo with two twin beds in the third bedroom. Each bedroom has its own balcony with amazing views.
Paraiso del Mar is a great new community with miles and miles of undisturbed beaches and La Paz's first golf course--an Arthur Hills desert style course with many of the holes right next to the beach. If you don't like to golf or play on the beach, there are plenty of other activities. Kayaking, tennis, snorkeling, world class fishing, biking, and shopping are just a few of the other things you can do in La Paz. The incredible island of Espiritu Santo is a short boat ride away and is an oasis of secluded coves, dramatic sandstone cliffs and coral reefs teeming with exotic tropical fish.
The city of La Paz has an authentic Mexican feel with great restaurants, shops and culture. The Paraiso community sits on the pristine "El Mogote" peninsula across the bay from the Malecon and downtown La Paz. The community has private boat docks and shuttle boats that take residents on a peaceful 10 minute ride between Paraiso and downtown. There's no need for a car when staying at the community. The Paraiso del Mar van will transport you from the airport to the boat dock downtown. You will cross the La Paz bay in a eco friendly boat and arrive at the Paraiso dock. From there, the amazing staff will take you directly to your condo in one of the many shuttles than run throughout the property.
If you have never experienced La Paz or if you are returning to the "City of Peace", Paraiso del Mar is a great place to stay.
Our unit is definitely non-smoking and a maximum of 6 people please. Daily maid service is available at an extra cost. We do have access to additional units so if you have a big group of people and need extra units, send us an email.

We visited La Paz on occasion of a family wedding and stayed at Paraiso del Mar, a beautiful complex, with a great location, calm and peaceful, and where all services run on time and smoothly. The pool is lovely and the beach is nice. The food kiosk by the pool has good food, nice drinks and the staff is friendly. We spent a week at the condo and it was a perfect stay: it is nicely furnished, well maintained and supplied with about everything you might need and has a fantastic view of the pool and Sea of Cortez. We were also very lucky to be able to see the dolphins on one of our walks in the beach. Definitely a place we can recommend.

And that is just what I needed...a private get-away. While I did want solitude, I never felt abandoned by the staff. They were respectful of my privacy, but ready to help me when needed. The condo was stunning! The minute I walked in, I felt like I was in a paradise of my own. The view from the balcony was lovely and I enjoyed drinking coffee there every morning. I loved the fact that the beaches seemed untouched. I even found shells! Try that in Cabo! No vendors, water-skiers, parasailing, etc. If you want that type of thing, this isn't your place. If you want to relax by the pool and read, and take long walks on the beach, this is the place! There is also golf, a volleyball court and places to ride bikes. I wasn't brave enough, but there are kayaks available for guests to use. With no 'light pollution', the stars at night were stunning! I highly recommend this paradise for people that want to get away from it all, but be close enough to downtown La Paz to enjoy the wonderful restaurants. A trip to Todos Santos is fun, too! Thank you for sharing your wonderful slice of heaven!

We just returned from our 2 week vacation in La Paz, where we stayed at the amazing Paraiso Del Mar - we were more than impressed with the accomodations - spacious, clean, amazing views!! The grounds were impeccable and our two children enjoyed the pool and beach - we were treated to dolphins every morning, and even kayaked alongside a pod of dolphins!! The staff at the complex were so helpful and accomodating!! We don't typically like to return to a place, as we like to find and experience other places and cities but we will definitely return to La Paz and when we do, we will be staying here again!! Can't say enough about it!! And Chelle was so incredible to work with - she was so helpful and informative - the best experience we've had renting through vrbo....look no further!! La Paz is the place, and this is where you want to stay!!

What a wonderful place! The condo was nicely furnished and very clean. The owner, property manager and resort staff were all very helpful. The beach was sandy, lovely and private. The boat ride into town was charming and better than the cab that would be needed from other resorts in the area. The Paraiso office helped us book a once-in-a-lifetime boat trip to swim with whale sharks and sea lions. (The tour boat ride seemed a bit long, but totally worth it.) La Paz is a lovely place with lots of nice restaurants (and no in-your-face vendors like in Cabo.)

This was our first trip to Baja, and we were lucky to have found this condo. The complex is amazing - beautiful location, peaceful, great pool and beach, and wonderful friendly service all around. This particular owner-rental has about the best location, is beautifully maintained and well stocked, and has, as an added bonus, an owner as well as a property manager who are extremely friendly and helpful. I can not find a single thing I would change about our whole experience - except that 3 days was TOO short!! We definitely plan to go back.

"Peaceful Spring Break at Paraiso Del Mar in La Paz" We had a wonderful time at Paraiso Del Mar during Spring Break. It was everything we had hoped for: great weather, amazing pool, challenging golf course, convenient tennis courts and courteous staff. Ana at the office helped arrange an incredible boat trip to Espiritu Island where we swam with sea lions, a humpback whale and a whale shark. We will be back next year!

Great place. Very quiet Island living. Incredibly attentive staff. The nicest pool I have ever seen anywhere in Mexico. The location is great for kids, calm endless shallow beach to kayak or collect shells. The unit itself is wonderful. Impeccably decorated and filled with any little thing you may need, from coffee filters to toiletries. Great people to deal with and a great deal. I've been going to La Paz for 12 years and this is the best I've seen there. Can't wait to return to Paraiso.

We spent a wonderful week during March. The condo is furnished very nicely and has an incredible view of the pool and Sea of Cortez. The weather was warm and we walked on the beach for 2 hours with coming to another resort. The resort staff is friendly and helpful and even helped set up a boat trip to Espiritu Island where we snorkeled with sea lions, whale sharks and even a humpback whale. We stayed at this condo in early December 2009. The condo was very nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The view is beautiful and the pool and beach area couldn't be better. The staff at Paraiso del Mar are very friendly and helpful. We found the town of LaPaz charming and not like other Mexican resorts we have visited with vendors, time share salesmen,etc. It is truly a typical Mexican, family friendly town. We liked how quiet it was and felt quite secluded being able to walk miles on the beautiful sandy beach.
