Why the Owner Chose Napa
With retirement not upon us, but visible on the horizon, we began looking for a house to launch the next phase of our lives. After considering several possibilities, Napa best fit our requirements - a vibrant community nestled in the spectacular beauty of the Napa Valley. The house is quaint and warm. We have remade it into our next home and are extending it to discerning guests.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The Cottage is close to all the things that are priorities to our life style; a mild climate, good food and wine, shopping, art and entertainment. Downtown Napa is walkable or a few minutes by car. Some of the finest wineries and restaurants in the world are minutes away, and the valley offers access to all manner of outdoor sports. San Francisco is an easy drive, with sights and activities for any taste. We haven't found a place better located to enjoy a wide spectrum of the best that life has to offer.

We are native San Franciscans who have been living out of state for the last 15 years, but our hearts will always belong to the Bay Area. We travel frequently, and are lovers of exceptional food and wine. In fact, we are currently in the process of making our first wine with a group of friends, a Zin blend which will come out in 2010. Our other interests are art, music, theater, activities on/under the water, and cooking.
