The house is within walking/biking distance to shops, numerous beaches, conservation land, restaurants and cafés, and locally made ice cream. Take a sailing, windsurfing, and rowing class at the Maritime School. Yoga, swimming and fitness classes can be enjoyed at nearby gyms, on and off-road biking is very popular and there are miles of trails through conservation land-perfect for viewing wildlife.
Historic and cultural activies are numerous: the Performing Arts Center, the Art Complex Museum, the Conservatory, the Library, and the John Alden and King Caesar Homes. Nearby Plymouth and surrounding towns have a wealth of historic features, shops, and activities. Art shows and concerts are frequently held and the September Oyster Festival is not to be missed!

The house is within walking/biking distance to beautiful beaches, shops, miles of conservation land and cultural centers. Ocean breezes keep the house cool and you may hear the fog horns in the distance. The kitchen is fully equipped or you can get delicious prepared foods nearby. Take a bike ride to the French Bakery or walk to one of three ice cream shops. Pick up a bestseller at the local bookstore or peruse the beautiful plants at the local garden shop. Very good local eateries and fine dining within 15 minutes. Duxbury is 15 miles from Plymouth, 22 miles from Boston and 31 miles to Cape Cod. You can catch a ferry from Hyannis to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard and have a fabulous day trip. Or ferry to Provincetown from Plymouth. Fishing charters, bike rentals and sightseeing are available.
