Four bedrooms of the six large bedrooms open onto graceful porches, two on the seaside overlooking the pool and two on the rear of the house reminding one of being in a live oak tree house. All four porches are furnished with either rocking or Adirondack chairs and tables. The porch off the great room also boasts a dining table capable of seating eight guests. All of the porches and the pool area have high and low level lighting and music played through a 5-point surround home theater system. The partially shaded pool area features a bar and grill for yet another spot designed for eating and recreation.
Striking interiors and graceful porches are only the beginning of the array of SEA MAGIC's experiences.
Atop SEA MAGIC is an easily accessible and extraordinary widow's walk for observing the panoramic view of the ocean and stunning year-round sunsets. This rooftop wonder is ideal for private sunbathing and can also comfortably accommodate six-eight guests for a leisurely lunch or a moonlit dinner. It is distinguished by being fully equipped with music, television, telephone and wireless internet connections.
Perhaps you are a golf lover. This area is home for nearly 100 courses. Most of them have been designed by the top players and designers of the world. There are courses for all players from beginners to the most skilled. Be sure to visit the Myrtle Beach Area year round weather sites. Golfing is delightful here throughout most of the year. Off season rates are impossible to beat.
Perhaps you are a birdwatcher and a beachcomber. Huntington State Park is only a short drive away. The beach and park afford intimate glimpses of nature including the summer migration of sea turtles. Owner's Map of Litchfield Beach
I grew up in Cheraw, SC which is about 100 miles inland from Litchfield Beach. Amy grew up in Greenville, MS. I graduated from Wake Forest University and Amy from the University of Maine. I have been drawn to SC beaches all of my life. I met and fell in love with Amy here and brought our first born, Peter, for a visit when he was 10 days old. Our company has been designing and building fine custom homes on these beaches since 1976. We carefully designed and built SEA MAGIC and are very proud of this home.

After just spending a week in this house I hardly know where to begin!!Let me first begin by saying that the pictures do not even begin to do this home justice!!From the moment ''Hal'' met us,we were amazed by the beauty and exquisite decor of this large family home.Our 5 Adult kids and families were so thrilled!! Litchfield is quiet,lovely,and so close to many wonderful dining spots,golf and shopping!!! Every day our grandkids Loved playing in the pool which we chose not to heat,it was just great!! We played cards,enjoyed Big dinners around the perfect dining table and had a simply wonderful time at ''Sea Magic''.We will return for sure!1Thanks to Hal for the opportunity!!!

Ate lots of great food, pizza from DeRomas, fresh shrimp, and tons of pimento cheese. House is so beautiful and comfortable. Loved having a pool! Took a group photo of all ten kids on the stairs leading up to the roof top deck. Enjoyed going swimming in the ocean after dinner almost every night with the whole family.

We rode bikes on the beach, visited Atalaya, and Huntington Beach Park. Went kayaking on the Santee, visited Murrells Inlet, and went parasailing. Amazing seafood dinners made at home. Watched the sunset from the widow's walk. The house is beautiful! We loved the pool. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful family vacation!

Ate lots of shrimp & turkey, saw beautiful shells, played on the beach, and spent time with all of our cousins. The house is wonderful and so comfortable. Many thanks to Mr. Jackson for all of your help with the fire place and for building such a welcoming home.

Went to the pool, played games, went to the beach, shopped, celebrated a birthday and had FUN! We saw dolphins, ghost crabs, and beautiful birds. Seeing the blue skys in the day under the sun to watching the sunset on the roof, our family had a great time and hope to come back!!

Played in the pool, went to the beach, went out to eat, mini golf, Broadway at the Beach, and the Hammock Shops. Special things: Watched the sunset on the roof, being together as a family, the alligator. We loved the house, the weather, and the atmosphere - we would love to come back.

Great! Low humidity and lots of sunshine. Swimming, fishing - lots of fish (had a fish fry for dinner), pool was soooo fun. Shopping and baby shower. Marlin do come close to shore! Sand crabs at night. The house is wonderful! Hope to come back again.
