Our home was redecorated in 2006. The floor plan is open with the master suite separate from the other bedrooms. The en-suite includes a double vanity, walk in shower and tub. The kitchen has new cherrywood cabinets and the dining area has a new bistro table that seats 8. The new flooring is mostly tile with carpet in the great room and bedrooms. The den has a computer desk and hook ups are provided. The new great room furnishings include two leather sofas and a reclining occasional chair. A 40" HD TV is replacing the old set in September/09.
The bedrooms include (one) King bedroom, (one) Queen bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds. All bedrooms are equipped with night stands and clothes storage.
The back yard has a view fence onto a desert preserve and mountain views. There is an extra large patio with both shaded and open area. Patio furnishings include: lounge chairs, a patio table with large chairs and a Holland BBQ.

Year Purchased: 2000
My Husband and I live in Kelowna, BC. and enjoy everything about our City except the long winters. We own a family business and our children are now taking over. We have owned vacation property in Phoenix for 20 years and so look forward to the warm sunshine each winter. We are avid golfers and play twilight at Mountainbrooke Golf Club frequently. We also enjoy hiking the in the subdivision and occasionally do mountain trails. I really enjoy entertaining friends and relatives in Gold Canyon and of course I love the shopping in the area.
Why the Owner Chose Gold Canyon
Our home is located just below the Superstition Mountains, in the most picturesque area of greater Phoenix. The Foothills Community includes hiking trails just out the door in the gently rolling desert subdivision. The Superstition Mountains and Foothills offer amazing mountain hiking and biking for the outdoor enthusiast.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Walk three blocks to the beautiful whirlpool and community pool, heated year round. The area offers a wonderful variety of golf courses to satisfy both the high handicapper on a budget to the highly rated "Dinosaur Course" a the Gold Canyon Golf Club and Spa. Our pictures of the home and furnishings are outdated and do not show the upgrades to the home. We did not anticipate renting our home this season however we now have some health issues. This is an area of incredible beauty and our home is very well kept.
