Radium Hot Springs is a hidden gem of leisure living located in South Eastern British Columbia, Canada. Nestled between the Purcell and Rocky Mountain ranges and overlooking North America’s largest stretch of wetlands, Radium boasts some of the world’s most majestic scenery.
Thousands of visitors come to this small mountain town every year to enjoy the healing and relaxing powers of the mineral hot spring pools. Within A forty-five minute drive you will find 16 golf courses, including Eagle Ranch, Copperpoint, and Greywolf. Within an hour and a half you will find five ski resorts, including Panorama, Kimberley, and Kicking Horse.
For outdoor enthusiasts the East Kootenay region is indeed paradise, as it is home to North America’s most diverse population of big game wildlife and is also the fly way home of over 200 species of birds and water fowl that flock to the Columbia Valley Wetlands each spring. Radium also offers an array of activities for all seasons including hiking, fishing, trail riding, white water rafting, and snowmobiling to name a few.
Bighorn Meadows Resort sits between the ninth and tenth fairways on the platinum-rated Springs Golf Course in Radium. Being situated on the golf course gives the resort a nice feeling of seclusion and these luxury condos have the most spacious floor plans of any of the resort accommodations in the Radium/Invermere area.
