We had such a wonderful weekend at the Ritz on the Rocks! The cabin was so chic and clean and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely amazing! We spent our evenings in the back yard watching the sunset over the valley! The Wildflower Cafe was a great recomendation from Tony. We ate there twice in two days! We were sad to end our little anniversary gettaway and we can't wait to go back!

What a serene setting to spend Easter. The views are just glorious. You wake up to a painting done by God's hand. There is a beautiful knoll right on the property where we sat and watched the sunrise in the mornings (coffee!) and sunsets (wine!!!!) in the evenings. In between, we immersed ourselves in all the antique shopping that the area has to offer! The cottage it was very charming and done first rate. They did not skimp on anything. There was even a bouquet of Easter Lilies in the living area. The owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. He was very generous with his time explaining and suggesting ideas we might enjoy. He is an invaluable asset to Ritz on the Rocks. We will be back!!! We highly recommend this location!

My husband and I love the Mentone area and have stayed in a couple of b&b's there over the years. I celebrated my 50th birthday on a Wednesday and as a birthday surprise my husband booked this cottage for the weekend. When we entered the cottage I just fell in love with it. The decor was so warm and inviting. It is a small cottage, but it is perfect for just 2 people. The view was incredible!! Usually we spend a lot of time antiquing while we are in Mentone, but this time we didn't want to do anything but sit outside and enjoy the beauty of the view from the brow. The only negative thing was the fact that this is a duplex, so if you have someone in the other unit, the walls are quite thin. We just weren't expecting it to be a duplex. However, we looked on the bright side of that and we met our "duplex neighbors" and even shared a fire in the fire pit with them our second night there. All in all the place was fabulous and we will definitely be back. I was not quite ready to have that "big 5 0" birthday, but with this surprise trip to this "little slice of heaven", I would say that this by far was my best birthday yet! Can't wait to go back!

I have had the opportunity to visit the Mentone area several times this year. I have stayed at many different places. This one is truly special. Decorated with timeless style and comfortable bedding makes you feel like you are staying at the Ritz. The view is amazing. Tony is a gracious and accommodating host. Don’t let the bargain price fool you this is a true winner. I was solo but look forward to bringing my hubby back for a romantic getaway.

Had a wonderful weekend at this little cabin. Perfect getaway for two! The view is great and the setting is comfortable and romantic at the same time. It is a great location to be no matter where your plans are, and the owner was great to rent from! It is a tad on the small side but it is meant to be for two! We loved it and do plan on returning.

Thank you so very much for helping me pull off this surprise birthday outing for my husband 72 years old.I have lived in Ft. Payne in 1966 and visited Mentone many times but my husband has never been here. He enjoyed seeing the falls and Mentone Hardware Store and part of Desoto Park. Today as we leave we will drive by Little River Canyon. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thanks for ordering the snow it was perfect.

Can't say enough as we recover from what lies behind and rest before embarking on what lies ahead. What an incredible view on a riot of sunshine stars and storms. Much Appreciated.

We had a great honeymoon at the Ritz. The spectacular view was more than we could ask for. The cozy cottage with its ecletic decor made for a great love shack. Convenient to Mentone and Ft Payne made the cottage an excellent location to visit these towns. We plan on coming back soon and making it a regular destination in our future.

We had a great time here on the mountain. Mountain views are scarce in Texas and we were in awe of the beautiful sunsets. Ritz on the Rocks is so quaint and we appreciate you opening your cabin to us.

AFTER CONTACTING THE OWNER,BOOKING THE RESERVATION,UPON ARRIVING I OPENED THE DOOR TO A SPOTLESS,WELL KEPT RETREAT.FIREPLACE,FLATSCREEN TV,BEAUTIFUL DECORATED BATHROOMS I WAS REALLY GOING TO ENJOY MY STAY.STOVE, REFRIDGERATOR MICROWAVE ALL AT MY DISPOSAL,(STAINLESS STEEL I MIGHT ADD) IT WAS BETTER AND WAS MORE THAN I HOPED FOR,IT WAS REALLY QUIET AND PRIVATE.I GRILLED OUT AND HAD DRINKS OVERLOOKING THE MOUNTAIN.I HIKED ,WENT TO LOCAL SHOPS,AND RELAXED AT MY LEISURE.I LIKED THAT YOU ARE SECLUDED THAT NOBODY BOTHERS YOU WHILE YOUR THERE ITS REALLY PRIVATE,AND THERE WERE PLENTY OF TOWELS TO USE WITH A KITCHEN FULLY STOCKED FOR USE.THE WOOD FLOORS ARE JUST GREAT TO LOOK AT.I WAS IMPRESSED HOW CLEAN EVERYTHING WAS I FELT AT HOME ,BUT YET AWAY TO A SPECIAL RETREAT.I WOULD SUGGEST WAKING UP EARLY TO ENJOY ALL THE SURROUNDING WOODS AND PLACES IN THE COOL MORNING AIR.IT WAS SO CLOSE TO TENN,AND GA.I COULD GO ALMOST ANYWHERE AND GET BACK WITH IN A FEW HOURS. THERE ARE LOT OF THINGS TO DO HERE,OR AROUND THE AREA,THERE ARE THE SUNSETS ON THE MOUNTAIN EVERY NIGHT,YOU DONT WANT TO BE ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE.I WILL BE GOING BACK FOR SURE,THANKS AGAIN FOR A UNFORGETTABLE GETAWAY DOUG

This place was packed so full with stuff (half antiques, half junk) that it was extremely hard to get around. The only place I had to put a suitcase was on the sofa. The shower is the smallest I've ever seen (2.5 square feet) In fact, the bathroom wasn't much more than 5' x 5'. Signs tell you not to touch certain things and, in my opinion, they shouldn't be there if they can't be touched/ used. Plus the owner double booked our last night. We left because we were miserable but he ultimately got money from two customers for the last night. It could be a cute, albeit tiny, hideaway if half the stuff were taken out of it., The view is nice.
