It's a great place to take walks, ride bikes or just soak up sun on the wide beach! This house is located in Summer Place, located about one-half mile from center of Ocean Isle. Enjoy a very short walk to the beach and the community pool. There is a beach access walk directly across from the Summer Place street entrance.
When you need a break from the sand, take advantage of your access to the community pool. You can also get all the sun you want just by stepping out the front door onto the large sun deck, or sit in the shade on the covered front porch or screened-in back porch. Ceiling fans are located in the den, and all bedrooms. There are four (4) color TV's and 4 DVD players. Wireless internet is provided.
An outside shower is also available for your convenience. Ocean Isle Beach offers several great restaurants and shops, but if you need more, visit world-famous Myrtle Beach, SC, which is just minutes away. You can also take a short drive north to the historical coastal city of Wilmington, NC, about 45 minutes away. And don't forget to check out the seafood restaurants of Calabash, NC, about 10 miles from Ocean Isle. This area offers it all!
This house is a great family get-away with room to sleep fourteen people - 12 in beds and 2 on the sleeper sofa. It is an extremely short walk to the beach and the community pool. We discovered Ocean Isle Beach when our two girls were young. It's been a great family getaway, and we have lots of vacation memories from Ocean Isle Beach. We're making more memories there now with our little grandson, and soon there will be two more precious grandchildren to bring to Ocean Isle with us. We enjoy riding bikes and taking long walks on the wide beach! We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and also appreciate the short distance to Myrtle Beach, Calabash and Wilmington if we want more shopping, restaurants or live entertainment. It's the best of both worlds!
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Isle Beach
We discovered Ocean Icle Beach in 1991 when we started going there with good friends who had a home there. We love the relaxed atmosphere and family environment at Ocean Isle Beach. The location of our house in Summer Place is great! It is so close to the beach and offers the community pool! Ocean Isle Beach is also a short drive to Myrtle Beach or Wilmington, NC. Therefore, we have the best of both worlds - the quiet vacation spot and the convenience of larger areas offering great shopping, restaurants and live entertainment.

Everything was fabulous- I am from Michigan - was attending my son's wedding in Ocean Isle- never been there before -had no idea what to expect- The house was beautiful- well kept- super roomy- Perfect- the owners were also very easy to work with and very helpful in answering all my crazy questions- I would rent it again in a heartbeat:) Just a quick walk to the beach- has community pool- within walking distance of all things

We rented 20 Private Drive for a week in August for our extended family group -- toddlers to grandparents. This was a great house of our group. The house is clean and attractive. It has porches on both sides of the house, so you can typically sit outside and be in the shade or sun. The bedrooms are spacious. We liked having all the bathrooms. We've stayed in houses in the past with fewer bathrooms and it is handy to have more. The house was clean. Good kitchen and great laundry room with storage area. The house is close to the pool - but not too close to be effected by the noise - and a little walk to the ocean. Summer Place - the development this house in a part of -- is very nice. It's a good location on the island. Ocean Isle is a nice beach island. There a some fun, beachy shops, ice cream, a mix of casual and nicer restaurants, and putt putt golf. The grocery store is a 5 minute drive.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
