Location: Bend, Central Oregon, Oregon, USA (The Chalet Has 'Best of Both Worlds' Peaceful Creek & Town!)

Accommodations:  Chalet, 1 Bedroom + Other (See Description), 1 Bath (Sleeps 4-6)

HAVE FUN, stay warm fireside in winter and cool in the summer .....and do it all just step out the door on this property that rests 2 acres along Tumalo creek @ 4800 ft elev.! In the winter X/C SKI from your door or enjoy an outdoor fireside in the snow! In the summer sit along the creek, read and watch the squirrels go by... HIKE, BIKE and fish in thousands of acres of the Deschutes National forest that surrounds this property - wilderness just go west ! An easy 3 mile bike or hike to Tumalo falls. Barbeque from the back deck and watch the creek flow.... you get the picture....!!

Then take a 13 minute ride into town..... to the Bend city life - visit the Deshutes river in old Bend downtown ! Choose from the multitude of delectable restaurants - take a turkish bath at McMenimans Pub! Shop, or sip a beverage from the dining along the "Bend" of the river that hosts the Revived Old mill and sports the New OLD MIll shopping district! Go paddle boarding from Alder Creek rentals or rent a bike from Wheel of fun... There is just too much to do in and out of town for you to miss a vacation in Bend! Come stay with us and we'll host an "Everything and all most anything you can think you want to do!" The Chalet upstairs unit hosts 1 beds and one sofa couch and additional blowup mattress - there can be out door camping in the teepee (summer),and decks! The kitchen will support parties up to 6-8 or more if you tell us ahead of time.

"THE CHALET" upstairs unit will be vacationer ready complete with Teepee in time for Thanksgiving (maybe sooner!)$125 per wkday night, $140 w/2 weekend night stay, $650 /wk, and seasonal$/month; 50% down at booking. Credit card secures booking/deposit. Quoted price is cash/ personal check price. We charge 3.5 % for credit card use. POLICIES: No smoking, x-tra charge for pets. Cancellation policy: 7 days < 50% refund.

  • Ski-In : When the snow falls get out our x/c and B/C skis! Miles and Miles of Terrain. Ski down from Mt. Bachelor 8 miles if your versed in B/C terrain or just ski the road to Tumalo Falls 3.5 miles from the Chalet's doors!
