  Our stay in Restful Bay was very comfortable. Barb and Jerry are very nice people and accomodating hosts. Everything was clean and the rental was well equipped. We enjoyed being so close to the water and the outdoor area very much. Our family enjoyed walking over to the fair grounds when the Tractor event was going on. We had fun bicycling the scenic back roads around Phillips. After being in heavily populated touristy areas, Phillips is a nice change but still having a lot to offer visitors. Fireworks in the graveyard on the 4th was unique experience ( display moved because of wind conditions by lake). We would recommend this place to anyone.

  Restful Bay is close to the town of Phillips but yet far enough out to be away from the hustle & bustle. Actually the walk into town would be very scenic along the town's lake. There were 6 in our party and the accomodations were MORE than adequate! The property is immaculate and the owners are so sweet! The house is on a little bay area and there are two paddle boats that my kids - and my husband - enjoyed fishing from every day! I would definately recommend this property!

  The place was plenty enough space for myself and my boyfriend. They had 2 bedrooms upstairs, including the only bathroom. Everything was clean and the owners were friendly. The paddle boat was nice to use on the evening we arrived. There was a small bookshelf of DVDs you could watch and a flat screen TV. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  What a great Memorial Weekend on Restful Bay! We brought a circus (3 adults, 5 children and 2 Black Labs) up to stay with Barb and Jerry, and they were great hosts. We didn't have to pack much, as the house was well equipped with all the amenities from home.... just relax and enjoy!

We would have loved for them to stay longer and do hope to see them next year. They really brightened our lives.   We use VRBO a lot. This was the very first time that everything was as advertised. It's clean, it's well equipped, it's convenient for road trips, it's peaceful, it's quiet, the view is beautiful, there is absolutely no boat traffic or noise, the water is of bottled quality and taste and the cost - well - it's like stealing. Earlier this spring, we stayed at a huge and much more expensive home in Baileys' Harbor. The advertised WiFi was nonexistent, TV was barely existent, we were "told" after the fact that we had to launder the towels we used AND provide our own detergent or else pay a $50 charge, there were no steak knives, etc. etc. etc.. From experience we can tell you for certain, It's the little things that count. Thank you Jerry and Barb. We will be back.

  Very quaint and homey! My husband especially enjoyed the dish TV, and we both had a wonderful afternoon reading in the gazebo right next to the lake. Phillips is a very nice little town and the duplex is a great value for the money.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  We stayed at Barb and Jerry's while on a grouse hunting trip to the area. The home's location was perfectly located near town and between all public owned lands in the area. The home was perfect for 4 men and met our needs well. Thanks Barb, we hope to see you next year.

  We were there from 8/12 thru 8/16. Nice place, very clean. All you need to bring are clothes and food. It is fully equipped. Jerry & Barb are great. We were there during the fair. We were surprized we couldn't hardly hear it when inside. Would highly recommend it. Thanks.

  Barb and Jerry are extremely nice people. They are the epitome of Northern Hospitality. We were able to spend the entire weekend feeling like we were at home. The place is comfortable, homey, and well maintained. Our group felt like family. Thanks Barb and Jerry. We look forward to seeing you again and again.

  My husband, our dog and I spent a lovely weekend at Restful Bay. We found the accommodations to be warm and friendly, just like the owners. The unit is nicely decorated and is extremely clean. It is quiet, as though you're in a secluded area, yet minutes from the downtown. We look forward to returning to Restful Bay soon. It is a great place to get away.
