We are located in the Great North Woods. It is a great place to vacation. Phillips is a small community and a friendly place to come for a vacation. You will find it to be a wonderful area to get away from the busy cities. It is also a safe place to bring the family.
We are on Lake Duroy which is connected to the Phillips Chain of Lakes
We are located on the snowmobile trail.(We are not located on an ATV trail.) Price county is said to have some of the best trarils in the state.
The Bathroom is located on the upper level.
I like to keep things short. So will just say that we are waiting for you.
We are 150 miles from Minneapolis.
We live on the other side of the duplex. Hope this does not prevent you from staying with us.

Year Purchased: 1989
We purchased the home in 1989 and used it for a vacation retreat. In 2002 we retired and live on the other side full time. We love to see people having fun, so if you feel like making noise please do so. We hope it does not stop you from renting because we live on the other side. We have met so many wonderful people since we have opened our house to guests. Hope you will be one of them.

We purchased the property because of the wonderful feel of the Northwoods. We wanted a safe and peaceful area to retire in. The house needed tender loving care and it has given us a great place to live in.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We are located next to the fairgrounds. You make think this is a disadvantage, but it gives people a wonderful place to walk, bike and play in. We enjoy the fair when it is here. The sounds of people having fun are great. That is what life is about, enjoying!!!!!!!!!!!

We use VRBO a lot. This was the very first time that everything was as advertised. It's clean, it's well equipped, it's convenient for road trips, it's peaceful, it's quiet, the view is beautiful, there is absolutely no boat traffic or noise, the water is of bottled quality and taste and the cost - well - it's like stealing. Earlier this spring, we stayed at a huge and much more expensive home in Baileys' Harbor. The advertised WiFi was nonexistent, TV was barely existent, we were "told" after the fact that we had to launder the towels we used AND provide our own detergent or else pay a $50 charge, there were no steak knives, etc. etc. etc.. From experience we can tell you for certain, It's the little things that count. Thank you Jerry and Barb. We will be back.

Very quaint and homey! My husband especially enjoyed the dish TV, and we both had a wonderful afternoon reading in the gazebo right next to the lake. Phillips is a very nice little town and the duplex is a great value for the money.

We stayed at Barb and Jerry's while on a grouse hunting trip to the area. The home's location was perfectly located near town and between all public owned lands in the area. The home was perfect for 4 men and met our needs well. Thanks Barb, we hope to see you next year.

We were there from 8/12 thru 8/16. Nice place, very clean. All you need to bring are clothes and food. It is fully equipped. Jerry & Barb are great. We were there during the fair. We were surprized we couldn't hardly hear it when inside. Would highly recommend it. Thanks.

My husband, our dog and I spent a lovely weekend at Restful Bay. We found the accommodations to be warm and friendly, just like the owners. The unit is nicely decorated and is extremely clean. It is quiet, as though you're in a secluded area, yet minutes from the downtown. We look forward to returning to Restful Bay soon. It is a great place to get away.

I have been hunting in the Philips area for about 7 years. This get-away has been perfect for a couple of hunting buddies who enjoy hunting all day, cooking a great dinner at night, and watching the hunting channel before bed. Barb and Jerry provide a great place to stay and hang your hat. I would absolutely recommend their facility to anybody. Great people, great facilities, and great memories. Thanks Barb and Jerry.

Restful bay is a perfect location. Very clean and roomy. Great price. Feels like home. Well taken care of. Owners are extremley nice and took care of all our needs. We give 5 stars.
