This property sits on an acre landscaped with tropical flowers and fruit trees. The house has a comfortable lanai to watch the sun setting over the Pacific and fresh fruit is available from the garden. At night, from the garden or from the Jacuzzi you can watch the moon and the night sky fill up with lots of beautiful stars. It's located on a quiet street in a rustic setting on the southern tip of Hawaii's Big Island.
The small town of Naalehu is 4 miles down the road and has a small town 1950's feel to it, but it's in the South Pacific. It has a couple of nice restaurants, a friendly bar, a great bakery and a small shopping center.

Owner Description
Sean and Yukiko. Sean is from Philadelphia and Yukiko is from Japan, we live and work in Japan but have always loved Hawaii. This is our favorite place in Hawaii. It's a little off the beaten track and more laid-back than other parts of the islands.
Why the Owner Chose Naalehu
We plan on retiring here and living at this house in the future. The weather is ideal, the flowers are beautiful and the pace of doing things is a little less hectic than in most other places we've been.
The Unique Benefits of this House
It's quiet and allows us to relax and unwind while experiencing life at a slower pace than we're normally used to, not only in Japan or the mainland USA, but other parts of Hawai as well.
