We have recently returned from a fabulous stay in this superb apartment. The quality of accommodation, cleanliness, level of comfort and attention to detail provided by Marie and Diran is faultless. It really is as good as it looks in the photos! Marie was charming and helpful during the booking process and rang at the start and end of our holiday to make sure that all was well. Marcia welcomed us and gave us a thorough demonstration on how to work the electrical appliances and heating. The location in Rue Dussoubs made us feel as if we were 'real' Parisiens yet we were within easy walking distance of many tourist attractions. We can only repeat the positve comments made by other reviewers. Stay at ParisCheri .... you won't regret it!

I visited Paris in April with my Mom, my sister and my niece who is a teenager. So we were multi-generational. This trip far-exceeded my expectations, as did the apartment. All of the furnishings were just beautiful. It was well-laid out, looked even better than the pictures and had all the comforts of home. The location was perfect. We were in a neighborhood that had a patisserie, a boulangerie, a grocery store, a fromagerie, lots of cafes, etc. All were easily accessed on foot. The listing description was extremely accurate and in fact, the apartment was far better than we even thought it would be. The property was exceedingly clean and well-maintained. We loved the large bathrooms, the wireless, the big screen TV, the music system, the kitchen appliances and most of all the coffee maker. Marie was always available for questions and suggestions. I would STRONGLY recommend staying here if you are interested in renting an apartment in Paris. If I go back, I definitely will want to go back here.

WOW...AMAZING apartment. We were in Paris for 10 days with our two daughters, ages 20 and 18 and the apartment could not have been more perfect. Two bathrooms, full kitchen, washer & dryer so helpful for our family. The apartment was beautiful, it felt like home instantly. The location was incredible, very residential. We felt like locals. Just around the corner is the Metro, and around the other corner are cafes, markets, everything you could need. I have already given this apartment referral to several friends. You can not go wrong with this apartment, it's just ideal!

Paris Cheri is a wonderful apartment centrally located to several important Paris landmarks and with easy access to Metro. We were two couples spending a week in Paris to see the sights and seeking an authentice Parisian experience. We definitely accomplished both and highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a comfortable place, easily accessible to the city's many experiences. The 2nd Arrondisment is a delightful neighborhood with a weekly market, good restaurants, fun bistrots and cafes and interesting shopping all within an easy walk of your front door. Marie, the owner, is a lovely woman, very helpfu and accomodating. The VRBO site accurately depicts the property - we were not disappointed in any way. Very comfortable beds, great living area with modern kitchen. Stay here on your Paris vacation and you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful apartment was as nice as advertised. Spacious, clean and very cool. it's on a quiet street 1 block from Rue Montorgeuil, which is lively, trendy and has lots of wonderful cafes and shops so it's easy to get into the hustle and bustle but also to escape to this quiet area nearby. The Metro stop is close and easy. The apartment is a lovely design, a combo of modern built into an old building. The only drawback was that the 2nd bedroom is next to the stairs and you can hear neighbors coming up and down so it made a siesta a little difficult, but it's very quiet at night and we had no trouble sleeping at night. The apartment is up onl one flight of stairs, so easy access except for someone who is handicapped. Being greeted on arrival at the apartment was helpful, and the amenities were easy to use. There are enough awesome food shops nearby that you could be self sufficient even without cooking in the flat if you wanted to. The bakeries nearby are incredible for breakfast. There is a nice modern stove and oven if one wanted to save some $ and cook themselves and a grocery nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment exceeded our expectations in every single way. Perfect apartment, perfect location, perfect owners! I would not hesitate recommending this property to other travellers looking for self catering accomodation. We have found our home away from home in the heart of Paris and will most certainly return.

This apartment is a 10++; furnishings, decor, appliances and location are all excellent. Marie is amazing and always available if a question arises and in fact she went above and beyond in helping us make our departure arrangements.. Important and interesting information is all available in the apartment and it is in very close proximity to 2 Metro lines (1 block). One of the best food shopping streets in Paris is only one block over. A short Metro ride takes you to the left bank and once you master the Metro you can get anywhere at all with ease! We have already recommended this apartment to two friends of ours who are contemplating a trip to Paris next year.

My husband and I planned our trip to Europe with a lot of time researching the best places to stay. We loved the beautiful apartment with a very modern feel. The price is hands down a great deal with the details of this stunning apartment. Location, location, location was awesome. We brought our 2 teenagers and we were able to get around the entire town with public transportation. What I loved the most was the assistance of the owner and her assistant. We had some basics to prepare a breakfast already bought for us when we arrived. That was a really nice way to start off our long day. We had some airport transportation problems and we had the support of the owner and assistant in making sure we would arrive at our destination. We loved our stay in Paris and would highly recommend staying in this classy apartment over anything else.

We were a family of four looking for a home away from home in Paris and we definitely found it at the Heart of Paris-Montorgueil through Paris-Cheri. From the very beginning, the apartment seemed ideal - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a stunning living/dining/kitchen area. Marie made the reservation process so easy. Not only did she speak perfect English, but she also made time to answer all the questions and concerns we had. Given that we were to catch an early flight upon check out, and that we had to manage both luggage and two boys, Marie arranged a driver to take us to CDG airport at 7am in the morning. When we finally arrived in Paris, months after we had booked the apartment, we found it to be exactly the haven we were looking for. It was clean, well-maintained, spacious, beautifully decorated, and exactly as depicted in the photos on the website. The apartment was also close to several Metro stations so easy to travel everywhere via subway. Rue Montorgueil was a wonderful location to experience Parisian life. In the mornings, locals would buy their fresh baguettes and pain au chocolat's, drink their cafe creme's, and walk their children to school. After work, you may find them gathering supplies at the boucherie, or the fromagerie, or the green grocer to prepare supper. As foodies, we appreciated the opportunity the apartment afforded us to cook (with fresh herbs, fingerling potatoes, haricots vert, pork chops freshly cut off the rack), to taste (numerous variety of cheeses, olives, wild strawberries, ice cream, yogurt (we love Mamie Nova!)) and to savour (desserts such as lemon tart, coconut flan, and macarons). We can't wait to go back to Paris again...soon we hope! Thank you for arranging everything, Marie. It was an amazing experience. We do appreciate all you have done to make our visit "formidable". Merci beaucoup.

We travel to Paris often, and have stayed in a lot of rentals, hotels, etc. This is the most comfortable, well appointed apartment we have stayed in. Very intelligently designed, well appointed, well maintained, and beautiful, you can visit Paris in comfort. The owners are very accommodating, and the apartment is well located, yet on a somewhat quiet street.

Two married couples stayed in this wonderful Paris apartment in May, 2011. The apartment is in an older, well established neighborhood. We walked about during the day and night and always felt very safe. The apartment is very modern and was spotlessly clean. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom arrangement gave each couple sufficient privacy. The lounge and dining areas were surprisingly spacious and the kitchen had all modern amenities: induction cooktop, full oven, built in refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Two stops on the Metro were very close to get us to all parts of the city. And about 2 blocks away was Rue Montorgueil where we found charming cafes, bars, bakeries, wine shops, fresh flowers, fruits & vegetables, meat market, fishmonger and chocolatiers. Simply FABULOUS! A couple of blocks further offered a great selection and variety of small boutiques featuring the latest and most fashionable clothing, shoes and accessories. Our hosts provided lots of helpful information before our arrival and during our visit. The apartment has a wealth of printed books and brochures in several languages. There is a television & CD player, but I can't understand why anyone would want to spend time watching TV when there is the most glorious city in the world right outside your doorstep! We never had a bad meal, the weather was gorgeous and everyone was very patient and polite to their foreign, non French speaking, guests. I can recommend this Paris apartment unconditionally and hope you have as great a vacation as we did.

On walking through the door, all four of us were greatly impressed with the beautiful decoration and layout of this wonderful Paris apartment. Spotlessly clean, tasteful, colorful and comfortable, this lovely apartment is the perfect base for exploring Paris. Only one block from a major shopping district, restaurants, groceries, and shops are easily accessible. It is within easy walking distance of both the RER and Metro. We were four women, and we felt quite safe in the neighborhood and in the apartment. The only negatives were small: it is up a single flight of stairs with no lift and there is a limited supply of hot water. But as wonderful as the apartment is, the management is even better. We were met at the door by one of the managers who admitted us to the apartment and explained all the features. During our stay they called several times to make sure we were comfortable and offered to answer any questions we might have. On the day we left, we had scheduled a taxi for our trip to the railway station. Martine had come by to make sure everything had gone well during our stay. However, the taxi did not arrive; due to a scheduling error, they believed we had booked for the following day. Martine immediately began calling taxi companies and arranged alternate pick-up so that we made it to the station on time. Without her quick and sympathetic action, we would have been stranded as none of us have sufficient French to call companies that do not speak English. All around, our Parisian vacation was made even more wonderful by our stay in this apartment.

I’m just dropping you a line to say thank you so much for having us in your GORGEOUS apartment in Paris! We had a spectacular time (too much work, not enough shopping though ;). The apartment was perfectly located for us. We love our food and the friends we travelled with came over to “our” apartment a couple of times and we all cooked amazing food from the produce we bought from just down the road. The apartment had everything we needed, and more! We felt so welcomed and so well looked after. I can’t thank you enough.

How fortunate we were to find a perfect apartment in a perfect location. The street is a typical quiet cobbled stone narrow street and leads to an active pedestrian area full of life...cafes...boutiques. The apartment itself is large and extremely comfortable. We were four adults and never got in each other's way. We loved it.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, spacious and very clean apartment in the beginning of August. The location cannot be beat. It's a block away from Rue Montegreil where we enjoyed sitting outside the cafes amidst the open market. Our teen daughters loved the shopping in some of the Sentier stores and the underground mall in Les Halles which is only 10 min walk away. The metro stations are very close by and convenient as well. It's so centrally located very easy to get to the Louvre, Nortre Dame, Opera house and many other famous sights. Martine was taking care of the property during our stay since Marie and Diran were on holiday (but still called us to answer any questions we had). She was very professional and friendly. She stocked wine, juice, fruits and baguette which were really appreciated after our long journey. We highly recommend this apartment.

My mother and I were planning a special trip to Paris for my soon-to-be 13 year old son. My mother did careful research in searching for an apartment that was in a great location, with enough room for the 3 of us plus gave us good value for the money. From the start, Marie and Diran, were wonderful to work with. They called when they said they were going to and answered the multitude of questions we had. The greatest testament to their character was when we had to cancel our trip due to the volcano. Not only did they refund our money right away (breaking their refund policy because Mother Nature caused the cancellation and not us) but were gracious and understanding. To my disappointment, I cannot give a review of the apartment but I can tell you that Marie and Diran are wonderful hosts and I will absolutely be booking with them when we re-schedule our trip!

Gorgeous apartment in great location, making an wonderful vacation even better. The apartment layout is great, it's light, quiet, clean and adjacent to the hustle and bustle off the Montorgeuil pedestrian area with it's shops and cafes. We were met by our hosts who quickly showed us around the apartment, after helping with our luggage and recommending where to get a late bite to eat. Diran and Marie provided coffee, milk, juice, fruit and cookies to get us started so we were not starving when we went out to sample the delights of the food shops on Montorgeuil, but it's hard not to buy too much when it's all so delicious and beautifully displayed. The location puts you at the heart of Paris and we walked to just about everything, taking the metro home (very easy to figure out and our hosts kindly provide lots of maps and guidebooks to Paris) at the end of the day. A perfect combination of a peaceful retreat in a bustling neighborhood, it is truly an ideal pace to stay.
