Stay on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard in our contemporary house with views of South Beach from the top 2 floors. Beautiful gardens, zen-like very private outdoor shower, hammock, beach chairs, gas grill. Great area for running, biking, walking and going to the beach. Bike paths nearby. Our property is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute ride to South Beach and a five minute drive to downtown charming Edgartown with it's wonderful shops and restaurants.

First Floor: 2 bedrooms king (2 Twins) and queen bedded, shower/tub bathroom, washer and dryer, and family room with queen size sofa bed, large screen TV, DVD, and sink/small refrigerator in family room.
Second Floor: large open living room/ dining area and granite countered kitchen with large windows on three sides leading to a large deck. Half bath
Third Floor: King bed in master bedroom with wonderful vistas of beach and plains, master bath with shower and Jacuzzi tub.

We love Martha's Vineyard. You feel so far away from the "real" world when you are there. We love the openness of our location and it's close proximity to South Beach. Our home is a contemporary with open spaces. We love the ocean views from our 2nd and 3rd floors.

First let me say that although the description and pictures are great, they just don't do justice to this place. It starts with the gorgeous landscaping that greets you as you come up the drive way. Instantly, you feel relaxed as you are surrounded by an ambundance of well-tended local flowers. The living spaces are comfortable as tasteful. The open layout is perfect for entertaining, with a great appliances, large granite counter top/bar which makes it easy to connect with guests while preparing meals. The deck is great for dinners and lounging with a cup(s) of coffee in the morning. The 180 degree views are expansive. The beds are all very comfortable and the breezes coming through the many windows make for a very restful night. What can I say about the amazing outdoor shower - it is a zen like experience! The beach is so close and the area is perfect for those early morning bike rides or runs. All in all, my husband and I were thrilled with our visit. It is such a wonderful place. We definitely look forward to a return visit and would recommend this property!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
