Our family invites your family to enjoy our lovely home away from home. Only an hour and fifteen minute drive from Tulsa, this gorgeous home is nestled inside the prestigious, gated community known as Shangri La Estates with the new Peninsula at Grand Lake development nearby. We just finished a $150,000 renovation and remodel on this Monkey Island property. We shipped in Travertine tiles from Turkey to finish out our showers (including one spacious walk-in shower with dual shower heads) and bathroom floors. The renovation also includes corian kitchen countertops, new frieze carpet throughout, stainless appliances, Samsung LCD big screen with DVD and VCR capability. It has an unbelievable location with three giant bedrooms - two downstairs and the master suite upstairs. It has a panoramic kitchen that opens to the living room and the dining area.
Whether your pleasure is on the lake or the golf course it is all right here! The fairway of hole number fifteen on the Shangri La blue golf course is just outside the front door. The day dock and lake are about 100 yards from the back porch. A full service marina is also within a 8-minute walking distance. In addition, Shangri La Marina houses an outdoor restaurant and bar and rental of Sea-Doos, sail boats, jet boats, pontoon boats, and tube and ski equipment. You could schedule a parasailing adventure or rent Sea-Doo's for an afternoon.
Our homeowners association has taken great pride and focus in the landscape and grounds keeping in the Estates. Walking around the upper and lower ponds and enjoying the waterfalls happens to be one of our family favorites. Master bedroom has a king size bed and a trundle bed with two twins, it also includes the large walk-in shower with two shower heads mentioned previously. The second bedroom has two queen size beds and a full bath and the third bedroom has two queen size beds and a full bath. This property is enjoyable year-round. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely beautiful, clean House with all the amenities one needs! The listing photos were spot on. The 10 of us were comfortable with plenty of space. Great location and wonderfully accommodating owner. We will absolutely be back! Thank you for implementing an awesome time!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you so much for your generous hospitality. We just returned from a stay in your wonderful home in Shangri La Estates at Grand Lake. We had a wonderful time - too bad we didn't have time to relax more - we were too busy! Trail rides at Royal Horse Ranch, parasailing at Sail Grand, golf at Shangri La and Patricia Island GC - each followed by a wonderful home to return to with a fabulous kitchen for huge family meals, plenty of room to spread out and beds for everyone. I can't wait to return! Thank you Mat and family!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
